The singing of a Naginata is the warning shot.
To those that stand by her side, it is tell enough of what was encroaching. To those who knew of naught, the conclusion would reach them too late.
Before Noir a river of inky ichor ran free, gurgling from the from the a headless shadow. From the chaotic mess of the culprit stood unbothered in her strides.
Seafom eyes look other the girl with a quiet scrutinity. Neither cruel or unfeeling, just pure objectivity that comes from a lady to her fellow foot soldiers. A king to their knights.
The head is crushed up foot, ichor stain silver boots for but a moment as the Nymph drew closer.
"Debuff, floor status? Noir?"
Admiration
The most potent and paralyzing toxin that can run through ones veins. Noir has felt it's effects many times before and she is certain that as she follows Hifumi, through all the heavens and hells or across all the lands of earth itself, she will feel it repeatedly again. Yet never did she imagine it would be tinted in such darkness.
The high pitched sound of the Naginata is like an arrow straight to Haru's heart. The ichor that shoots skyward and stains the ground around them she almost mistakes for her own rushing blood. The blood that tinges her cheeks red, that ring in her ears like a deafening waterfall. Then out of that darkness stands Seafoam a color Haru was starting to believe was the most beautiful hue in all of the world...
She strides over to Haru, her foot turning the fallen head to chunks and Haru's knees to jelly, momentarily making the world wash away in the beauty of the darkness of her deep dark hair and the drowning depth of her oceanic eyes. Yes in that moment Haru truly felt to be a knight stood before her king. She thought of going to a knee, swearing her loyalty to Hifumi for so long as they both shall live and letting the poison of her admiration seep into her every part of her being.
How could she not admire Hifumi? How could she not look upon such strength, such elegance, such ferocity and beauty and not be overwhelmed completely in her admiration? It is only her code name spoken aloud that can even vaguely clear her mind of the virulent effects of her own admiration.
"Hm?" A soft noise made so thoughtlessly she almost doesn't realize it's escaped her until a few seconds later. As reality, or well Mementos, settles back in and she is brought down from her own delirium. "Ah! I-I'm fine!! I was just- Tha-that umm... That final attack must have been more paralyzing then I realized."
Her face only turns more red in embarrassment now as she tries to hide her own folly. How foolish to get so wrapped up in her own head, her own admiration of Hifumi. To put them both in danger just because she was smitt... Oh dear.
