DWC2021-19 - Affection/Wake

The day had been spent at a market within the mountains of Kun Lai, and for once, Kou had been allowed to simply run free. No need to entertain, no leash of being proper, and when he and Kuji had met up with Apple and Gyozi, even more madness ensued. The little snow fox hadn’t laughed that hard in ages, nor had Kujiro witnessed the excitement of child-like wonder Kou could be filled with until that day.
There had even been a mystery pie challenge and Kou took the chance… For the first time in his life, he experienced a sugar rush, causing his entire body to simply vibrate for nearly three straight hours.
Once the pair had their fill of adventure and went back home, the aforementioned sugar rush had begun to wear off, rendering Kou to be much more manageable and with the pair being alone on their date, he could give the proper affection to his hatted mage, even through sleepy musings and soft ‘I love you’s. Kou didn’t last much longer but the trio of matching, lucky koi charms were given properly, his own clipped to his two earrings upon his right ear. Ker’s would remain on the table when he got home and Kuji’s was kissed before being offered to the sunset fur to put where he pleased.
That was the last thing Kou truly remembered.
In the early morning, as the sun began to peek into the sea of pillows, greeting the pair to wake when they pleased, the tiny popstar sighed happily and rolled, curling further against Kujiro, giving the mage no room of his own as Kou had effectively snuggled so hard into his side that there was nothing but the wall and white fur pinning Kuji between.
To think such a tiny gremlin could take up so much bed space when he truly wanted to.
