uuughhhhhh my friend that i help with homework messaged me a gazillion times while i was asleep (i didnt mean to sleep that long anyway :( ) like... i understand you have trouble and i understand you need help, and that the essay is important but damn we were already gonna meet tomorrow right after my appointment at the health center (where im probably gonna get blood drawn, oh god.) my appt is at 1 and i have no idea when it will end. i told her that, and she said "so can we meet at 2?" and i said i wasnt sure i'd get out on time and im still not sure she caught that but i just ??? cannot be doing that every day ??? i know she's got a lot of homework and yeah she started paying me 20 bucks a week but i tried to tell her not to do that and she insisted. i did it for a year and a half without that, thats not what it was about. i just... my life doesn't revolve around her homework? ? i dont want her to fail but i am more or less writing this essay for her ??? Heavy Sigh i need to go eat

idk like ?? i feel like im kinda Not Entirely In any fandom??? and it’s not because i have less love for any of it but i just ??? don’t know as much ??? don’t pay as much attention ?????? i forget a lot of things and miss a lot of things apparently and everyone else seems so much more knowledgeable and well-versed on top of putting better commentary/art/stories/etc into the fandom and im here like Hi Hello I Like Thing..............

honestly it’s kinda weird to me that i just don’t??? have any emotional attachment to pokemon ??? like yeah there’s nostalgia and stuff for the games and the pokemon and cards and everything i had as a kid and the things i still have but like ... digimon just has always carried more weight for me, even though i got into it at an older age (like, 10?) which might actually be part of it... ??? idk i just can’t get into it the same way as digimon?????? but i used to be VERY VERY into pokemon i wanted to be a pokemon trainer i knew eVERYTHING i learned to write cursive with pokemon books and idk ??? little bitty me would be SCARED to hear me say this lol i still have my pokedex but like ???? i’d choose everything digimon over pokemon in a heartbeat no questions asked ???????? games? yep. (i know i know). anime? YES. critters? yes. why ??? i dont know. digimon makes me cry. pokemon never did that i guess.

this is not me trying to say one is better than the other i promise 

to me they’re not even like ??? the same thing ??? at all ??? but they’re compared all the time so ... idk ????????? idk????????????????????????

going to write about con experience/plans for next year 

mostly for self-reference but idc if u read or not lmfao

honestly tho naka-kon this year was so much fun holy shit

especially compared to last year, which sucked for a lot of reasons, but. 

this year was lots of fun, even though i only went 2 days and left earlier than planned on saturday. going as matt & tai digimon was a LOT of fun even when just me and mango were hangin out together 

and honestly it’s so much more fun to go as the two of us compared to when we would go with our former friend group in previous years hmm

but i met quite a few friends and saw twinfools & nova’s cmv panel (bc let’s face it we’ve ben trying to get ourselves to make cmvs for YEARS and just haven’t done it yet. thinking about asking for a video camera for my birthday), and yang’s armor making panel which gave me lots and LOTS of motivation for my agunimon cosplay

so my cosplays i have planned for naka aaaaare:

-yamato/matt ishida

-ken ichijouji (not sure which outfit)

-henry wong

-koji minamoto

-agunimon

and i may decide to put together a formal version of one of my charas, probably ken, to wear to the masquerade thingy

perhaps even more exciting for me than that is that we’re planning on trying to do a digimon panel. if we don’t do it this coming year, we’ll try for 2017, but...this year would be great, especially since tri. will have been out by then. 

we have a lot of time to put it together and talk about it and stuff, but i just keep thinking about all of this and it’s so so so exciting i just

i really hope there are more digimon cosplayers next year oh /man/ 

hopefully the panel will maybe spark some interest...hmmmmmmMMMMMMM

i’m getting a job this summer so hopefully that’ll be a pretty good indicator that i can go through with all these plans
