The Department of Homeland Security has finalized new premium processing fees for USCIS applications, reflecting inflation adjustments from June 2023 through June 2025. Starting March 1, 2026, applicants requesting expedited processing will see modest increases across multiple visa categories. Form I-129 fees for H-2B and R-1 workers rise from $1,685 to $1,780, while other nonimmigrant classifications increase from $2,805 to $2,965. Employment-based immigrant petitions (Form I-140) and student status changes (Form I-539) will also see comparable adjustments. These biennial adjustments, authorized under the USCIS Stabilization Act, help maintain service quality and address processing backlogs while funding critical adjudication operations.
