this yet another dive into felicia’s character . a subject that can be discussed so widely : because felicia is two sides of the same coin . is she totally good ? no , she is a cat burglar after all . is she totally bad ? no , she only steals from the rich ( usually criminal families ) , & if an criminal offers her a deal : her first thought is how to double - cross them . she despises most of the villains , she remembers what happened to her father & has loathed them ever since .
even the people can’t truly pin down what she truly is. in spide.r - m.an ps4 game : in one of JJJ’s podcasts said “ the original black cat ( felicia’s father ) stole and took his chances . he didn’t try to convince us he could be a good guy , like this jezebel did . remember ? she ran around playing a crime fighter . ” i think this leaves the citizens always unsure what her main goal is . but that is how she is : unpredictable . now , i am going to talk about some comic panels :
the black cat annual is one of my favs . in this , she & peter broke in to MAGGIA’s murder / wedding thing for these two youngsters in love . the fun thing is : she really did not gain any money from this , as stated her part went to charity ( but then again , it was part of her & peter’s deal . ) but she was fine with this , felicia stated in the comics that even if she can not take anything else from this HEIST , she’ll gladly take down maggia’s / hydra’s pride with her & keep the memories of this night full of adventure & thrill . below is a statement made by one of felicia’s boys , boris .
but even felicia manages to surprise herself sometimes about how , when putting two situations together , she chooses the morally good one , and we are talking about serious moments here . this surprised her even more , after the whole ordeal of forgetting who peter / s.pider - m.an was ...... she herself said she fell into a dark place : becoming a queenpin of crime .
she meets billy , and shows her soft side . she wants to help , but doubts herself : at first , she is about to call other heroes to help him . but when she finds out that the two mercenaries have decided to take the boy away , she goes back to free him . only to be attacked by t.askmaster and b.lack a.nt .
this is most likely not going to be last post i make about felicia as a character but this is getting WAYYYY too long .
