Nat has an established origin, family, strong principals and reasons for being a hero, friendships and relationships; All waiting to be told to new and old audiences. It’s more of a world than even some popular characters get. So much to work with but none of it is ever largely expanded on. Natasha deserves a new story; one that highlights her as a black woman, an inventor, and an amazing form of queer representation. Not just now but for years to come.

someone at work comes up to me and is like, hi, im here with my friend who is Deathly Scared of water and i've been teaching her to swim, today i want her to try jumping in water over her head so she learns not to be afraid of it, can i borrow a lifejacket? and despite this being against like 3 rules, im like 1) yes 2) i will stand there with you with a lifeguard tube for an extra layer of security. So we get the stuff and walk over to competition pool, and after walking her through how to put on a lifejacket, we stand there by the side of the pool for over and hour as she psychs herself up to do it, hyping her up. and she gets frustrated at points but she does it!!!!!!!! IM SO HAPPY
