--- ; Is there a snack you like to eat while writing? My habit is usually eating only when I’m hungry if I’m not eating during regularly schedules meal times-- but I only get snackish in the evenings, which would be the only time I’m eating whilst writing. If I’m really hungry I’ll usually go for something like a sandwich but if not.. crackers, or cookies, or anything generally unhealthy like that is my guilty pleasure of choice.
--- ; What time of day do you usually write? Since I’m normally working six days out of seven a week-- I can’t get to any sort of replies done until I’m home for the evening. Occasionally I’ll do aim replies through mobile during breaks and what not, but proper replies I try to save until I’ve gotten home, showered, napped and eaten. On my days off however, I’ll generally catch up on all the sleep I’ve missed during the week, so I won’t get online until the afternoon, and even then it’ll be a few hours after that before I can start on proper, tumblr threads.
--- ; Where do you write? At the breakfast bar, or if it’s late, on the couch or-- even later, in bed. I tend to migrate around the house depending on the time. I have a desk in my room but no chair yet, so until that day comes I tend to just settle in bed.
--- ; How often do you write a new novel? I’ve started many fanfic over the years and only one has ever been completed-- that’s probably answer enough, hah. RP suits me more because it’s a honestly a miracle if I ever have the drive and motivation to actually finish something that’s long and chaptered.
--- ; Do you listen to music while you write? Yes, whenever I can. I tend to stay up much later than everyone else in my house so I’ll usually keep myself downstairs just so I can listen to music without headphones.
--- ; What’s your writing utensil? paper or laptop? Laptop-- I type pretty fast and I’m used to it enough know that trying to write anything long by hand just gives me hand cramps.
--- ; Do you have a special pre-writing ritual? Not really-- I write when I feel like it and if not, I’ll remove myself for a bit and do something else like play games or watch a movie before I return to try again.
--- ; What do you do to get into the writing mood? Nothing, but I tend to lose interest in threads pretty quick if they’re boring or repetitive. If I’m not into a thread it doesn't take much for me to decide to drop it. It sounds harsh but I don’t want to force myself to write something I’m not interested in either.
--- ; What do you always have near the place you write? A drink, and a fan because my laptop gets pretty hot.
--- ; Do you have a reward system for word counts? Not really, just a general good feeling at the end of the day that I’ve been productive. For me, it’s a big deal to go to bed feeling accomplished in myself, so, it’s enough.
--- ; Is there anything else about your writing process your readers don’t know? Um, I suppose I tend to do the replies I have an immediate response for first. If I go into my drafts I usually try to do them based on when they were posted, but if I don’t have an immediate response in mind I’ll usually skip it and then go back to it after I’ve done a couple others to see if anything comes up.
