hopefully this isn’t too confusing, but here we are with a faceclaim change and a url change! rkzyx is now rklandon! it was a bittersweet decision to come to because i love yixing and i love exo but he’s strayed far from kpop over the years as he’s become a prominent solo artist in china and other reasons i won’t delve into for the sake of time!! while this fc isn’t chinese and i had to make some changes, i’m excited to see where this change will take me! if anyone has questions, feel free to message me!

went by wonho when he moved to korea because there were already a few people named “hoseok” in his class; liked how wonho sounded like “one hope”

landon comes from the brief stints of english class he had in china ; someone told him he looks like a “landon” and so it stuck / lowkey using landon bc i don’t like how rklay looks

his stage name will likely stay the same ; unless i’m told otherwise so pending !! 

went with his ic hair being blonde as that’s the color yixing had for pretty u

his height is still 178cm

his birthday is the same! still three days short of being an angel, 1004 or cheon-sa 

i am definitely not even entertaining the idea of racebending or would ever consider it!! which is why the choice was difficult to make so instead of his father being the one to turn custody over to his paternal grandmother, it’ll be his stepfather and still his paternal grandmother in this case, just not related by blood 

both his twitter and instagram are still some variation of convexlay. instead of his previous username on twitter being layandknight, it’s onlywonhope

aaa i don’t really know what to say! so much has happened in the last year and i didn’t think i would have him for so long! i was hesitant to bring him and i threw myself into writing for him as much as i could in the beginning to let him live. i want to say that mystic messenger brought me here and recently they celebrated with v’s new route so i think it coincides at a good time. as much happiness and feelings mystic messenger has brought me over the past year, so did rookies and i’m thankful to everyone who was part of that journey whether it’s through threads or following each other’s stories while lurking on dash. 

since his application was accepted, he has gone through a lot and i hope he continues to grow! thank you guys for allowing me to fulfill his story so far and i hope i don’t let anyone down with how he progresses as a character! i have more planned for him soon, look out! 

again, thank you guys and please accept all the love yixing has to give! his zen mode is begging to be turned on but he’s still feeling the same way described in this headcanon. fear not, a new update is coming soon ( ^: thank you a million times and if we haven’t plotted before, i hope we do soon!

henlo!! it’s been a while since i’ve typed up one of these but yes hello i’m sam and i’m the typist behind this lil bab! i’m super excited to be here n plot n write w y’all!! if y’all wanna plot feel free to hmu via IMs or if y’all want i could also give y’all my twt!! under the cut are some tldrs, trivia, and plot ideas!!

some trivia/tldr for my babbu’s bg:

- he was abandoned (so he developed a fear of it n always tries to get along w everyone even tho he a snake) by his real parents n was taken in by daybreak scientists

- has had his power for over 10 years but he still weak bc he was experimented on n his body still be recovering 

- no prior contact to the outside world before he was put in an adoption home after daybreak collapsed so he’s v blunt

- he likes cooking / baking and flowers!! he raises flowers at home and names them after his fears and anxieties 

- he runs a cooking / baking blog and sells some of his goods there

- he calls himself chae sunhwa whenever he attends rallies or protests or whenever anyone outside the school asks for his information (the only people who know him as jonghyun are friends [which are only a handful, most of the time], the adoption home, and the school--he tells you his real name if he ends up trusting you so if we’re gonna bump into each other on the street best expect his name to be sunhwa)

plot ideas!!

- he gets anxious a lot n craves warmth whenever he is and back in the adoption home, he had little kids to give him warmth. now he grabs a hold of anyone in the vicinity and hugs them for a minute or two to calm down before thanking them and giving them candy or cookies. the person he grabs a hold of this time is you!

- you work at a flower shop or are passing by one while he’s picking out a new flower for his home and you hear him mumbling and ask if he’s okay (but in reality he’s just picking out what name he’ll give it)

- he works as a florist during the weekends or holidays and you happen to be a constant thorn on his side

- he frequents coffee shops to study and becomes your regular--he always asks for an extra shot if it’s the midterms and two if it’s finals season

- you're a frequent visitor to his blog and he happens to be selling some baked goods in person that day and that’s how you meet! (usually he mails them out, unless he gets lazy n would rather just sit in a cafe somewhere and wait for people to go to him)
