there is something to this small earthling that fascinates and perplexes the M A D titan. it’s a curious creature, brave as children are - in a naïve way. he is at the T E R R I B L E tyrant’s mercy, and yet shows no intimidation. a swathe of long forgotten tenderness washes over the rough cliffside hosting his heart, buried deep inside the carved mountain of his body.
he stands over him as he rests, minutes passing without another thought. the galaxies slowly revolve around them, bursting into the firmament in billions of shimmering stars. when he finally emerges from his contemplative reverie, thanos bends down his enormous frame to pull the pelt over the human’s form, tucking him in, and briefly presses his stone-hewn lips to the soft curls of jet-black hair on top of his head.
