Riku Nanase Xmas Magic Rabbit Chats Chapter 3
Chapter 3: 頑張る陸くん The Riku-kun Who Tries His Best
Riku: Manager, thanks for the good work. I’m sorry for talking about something weird today!
Riku: When I get a nightmare, I can usually forget about it after a while, but this time the feeling of randomly falling was so realistic, I was able to clearly remember it, so I just started talking about it.
Tsumugi: Thank you for the good work, Riku-san.
Tsumugi: It was the dream where you were flying in the sky on a balloon with Kujo-san and then a hawk came flying and then you were the only one falling, right.. If you’re okay with me, then I’m always willing to listen, so if anything happens, please tell me.
Riku: Thanks!
Riku: At that time, I was wondering why it was a hawk. Now, I know that that was probably Kujo. (1)
Tsumugi: Kujo-san...?
Tsumugi: Ah
Tsumugi: If I recall correctly, his full name is Takamasa Kujo....
Riku: Yeah. I was thinking about how that guy is trying to separate Tenn-nii and me even in my dreams!
Riku: But, I have everyone in IDOLiSH7 and you with me! I have nothing to be afraid of.
Tsumugi: Riku-san....
Riku: It’s okay, I can’t keep being hesitant like this! I’m sure that if Tenn-nii saw me like this, he would get mad at me.
Riku: He would say, “Riku, what are you doing. Weren’t you going to catch up to me?”
Tsumugi: You’re strong, Riku-san. I’m sure that if Kujo-san saw you right now, he would be shocked!
Riku: Yeah, I hope so!
Tsumugi: Oh, it’s already this time. Are you going to go sleep soon?
Riku: Nope, I’m actually in Nagi’s room right now!
Tsumugi: So that’s what you were doing!
Riku: Iori and Nagi are both here. Earlier, Nagi was pretending to be running a food stand, and Iori and I were pretending to be customers lining up! (lol)
Tsumugi: The venue for tomorrow’s show seemed to have a lot of food stands lined up after all! Is the simulation going well?
Riku: Umm, sort of! (lol) At first, he was running an okonomiyaki stand, but we said that we’d get stuff stuck on our teeth (2), so in the end, he changed it to a crepe stand.
Tsumugi: You three seem to be having fun!
How was Nagi-san as a crepe stand seller?
How was it standing in line as customers with Iori-san?
It'd be nice if you were able to line up tomorrow as well!
Tsumugi: How was Nagi-san as a crepe stand seller?
Riku: He was saying, “Welcome, welcome! It’s cheap, it’s cheap!” like a grocer (3), so we told him that it was okay to talk like normal! But after that, he started saying, “We only sell Nagi Deluxe☆Cocona Special Crepes” so we were a bit troubled! (lol) I wanted to eat a chocolate banana crepe...
Riku: What would you want to eat, Manager?
Tsumugi: I really like the karaage from food stands, so I want to eat some with a lot of mayonnaise >< (lol)
Riku: I totally understand the feeling! It’s the one where you eat it with a skewer from a paper cup right? It’s really hard to eat!
Tsumugi: Yeah, it’s really hard to eat! (lol) But I can’t help but to crave that deep-fried goodness..
Riku: I’m getting hungry... (lol)
Riku: I’m in charge of cooking the day after tomorrow, so maybe I’ll make some karaage!
Riku: That sounds good! Have you ever made karaage before?
Riku: No... But I’ll somehow manage!
Tsumugi: I think you’ll have to use quite a lot of oil so please make sure to be careful, okay ><
Riku: I asked Iori for help just now! He looked like he really didn’t want to, though.... (lol)
Riku: He told me, “If I leave it up to you, then instead of normal karaage, we’ll have Nanase-san karaage, so I’ll be helping you”!
Riku: “Nanase-san karaage” is pretty harsh, isn’t it? I won’t get fried! (lol)
Tsumugi: In other words, he’s worried about you (lol)
Tsumugi: If you’re with Iori-san, then I’m relieved!
Riku: Iori is really roundabout, isn’t he.... Iori and I are gonna make some special karaage, so if you don’t mind, you can come eat with us too!
Tsumugi: Is it really okay...! I’m happy. I’ll be looking forward to it then!
Riku: Put a lot of mayonnaise on and eat some, okay!
Tsumugi: Okay >< (lol)
Tsumugi: How was it standing in line as customers with Iori-san?
Riku: Iori said he's never stood in line alone before so I escorted him! First, I read the menu for him in a loud voice, and then I told him it's better to pay with smaller bills. (4) Well, the menu only had “Nagi Deluxe☆Cocona Special Crepes” anyways (lol)
Riku: What would you want to eat, Manager?
Tsumugi: I really like the karaage from food stands, so I want to eat some with a lot of mayonnaise >< (lol)

Riku: I definitely want to eat crepes! Sougo-san said he was interested in the super spicy sausages, but I wonder if those taste good...?
Riku: What would you want to eat, Manager?
Tsumugi: I really like the karaage from food stands, so I want to eat some with a lot of mayonnaise >< (lol)

(1): fun fact!! riku dreamed of a hawk (鷹) separating him and tenn-nii apart......... and kujo’s full name is....... kujo taka(鷹)masa........ h...h..a.h.a.a. ..
(2): the original phrase... was .. . . “歯のりするから...” so i googled 歯のり and i got pictures of people with bits of seaweed on their teeth,,, and okonomiyaki,, has seaweed in it,,, so i ?????? this was the Best I Could Come up With
(3): the original word was 八百屋さん and the dictionary translation was greengrocer, which is apparently a british/australian english term,,,, so,, me,,, being an american,,, i was,,,,, what the fufk c j,, so I just!!! Kept it as grocer!!!! its basically just a vendor.........?? selling...... fruits and veggies.. ? ? ?? ?? i think,
(4): the original phrase was “まずは大きな声でメニューを伝えてあげて、小銭は崩しておくんだよって教えてあげたんだ。” !!! especially with the last part, i had a bit of trouble,,,, and i couldnt find any answers on google so i had to ask my friend and wait a while for a response------ but its basically breaking change??? japan’s coins are more... of a higher value than.. american coins at least... like dam... . . . . .those 500 yen coins............................ so i just assume riku’s telling iori to not trouble the poor seller at the stand (nagi) with breaking change for you and to just pay with exact change or smaller money!!! and then i just went with bills instead of coins because,,, yea,h,, please correct me if im wrong i was dying
also i jokingly wrote tsumugi: but i cant help but to crave that finger-lickin’, deep-fried goodness in the draft ksdfhkdjgh tsumugi shoots a kfc commercial
