We are raising money to create our non-profit organization that will provide sport specific footwear to inner-city elementary student athletes.
And since people have been asking about the new direction of H1GHER LEARNING, I decided instead of just telling you I would show you what we are looking to accomplish and who we're trying to serve.
Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to outfit the 9 & 10 year old basketball team at Sanders-Clyde Creative Arts School, a Title I school located in the Charleston Promise Neighborhood zone--a 5.6 mile struggling area of Charleston's "Neck" region.
With their donations we were able to provide:
= Eight (8) mesh gym bags
= Eight (8) pairs of basketball socks
= Eight (8) pairs of Under Armour basketball sneakers
= Eight (8) pairs of basketball shorts
Once we establish our non-profit, we would reproduce these efforts for other inner-city elementary student athletes in the Charleston Metro area.
