Our amazing tech witch Lynn is a beast at technomancy, up to and including their wand being an actual flash drive. Here’s some tips for easy-peasy technomancy you can do with your cellphone.
You know how traditionally, witches lock and ward their mirrors and other reflective surfaces to ward out anything that would use them as portals or for scrying? You can do that with your phone screen, computer screen, and cameras! Just make sure you’re using something to lock them that’s actually safe for your device, so no oils!
Sigil magic! Almost everyone has a case on their phone to protect it from mundane drops and bumps- why not put a sigil inside your phone case? Protect it from interference, from theft, or even a mobile protection for yourself if you always have your phone on you.
Use your background as a manifesting tool. Make it a sigil, or a statement, or even an image of something you want to manifest for yourself. When you plug your phone in to charge, repeat the manifestation. Let your charger charge your phone and power the thing you’re trying to manifest into being.
Our tech does so much for us. So, be thankful and kind to your tech. Treat it nicely. Keep it clean. Heck, name your device. Speak to it like a friend and thank it when it works well- people do it with their cars all the time, why not your tech?
