With Lilian, he’s only sometimes hesitates to interact with her because of their tendency to border pale when they meet, and he refuses to risk anything that might jeopardize his relationship with Atten. He’s also concerned about her drinking habits, and doesn’t want to inadvertently enable her; she’s quickly become one of the first trolls to come to mind when he needs to get out of the house, to gossip or vent, but what might be a rare indulgence for him looks like a troublesome habit for her. Otherwise he’s more than glad to see her again, now that their relationship seems to have taken a turn.
But Loom.. he’s a bit more reluctant to see. He has a nasty temper, and a nastier habit of holding on to that anger for a long while, when he perceives he’s been slighted, and a mean possessive streak to boot. He knows Loom wasn’t informed of his one Stipulation, with rl, so he knows it’s wrong to hold that against them, but his anger issues have led him to simply keep his distance while he calms down. But all *that* is just his petty reason for avoidance. His more reasonable fear revolves around Loom’s abilities, and how easily he could feel himself get sucked in, willing to devote himself to something so much greater than he, even if he doesn’t understand it. In a way, his petty jealousy helped to ground him, remind him that he’s just a mortal concerned with silly mortal things. Despite all of this, he is distantly fond of Loom, and hopes to reconnect with them.
