The Pool Party went off with only a few hitches! People got pushed into the pool, the pool shed was deemed inappropriate, and everyone enjoyed each others company (some more or less than others...) [Content Warnings: alcohol mention, suggestive language, curse words, suggestive themes]

Events For July

Hello everyone! We’ve got your events for this next month planned out and we’re excited for you all to come and enjoy them! They are not mandatory to participate in, but it’s a good chance to get your characters to interact with one another in a fun situation! 

July 8-9: Pool Party and Fireworks Festival  Come and try to beat the heat at the school’s pool! There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, sodas, and waters provided as refreshments throughout the day, as well as squirt guns for everyone to play with! Later in the evening, a fireworks display will be held. Perhaps you can watch it with your friends or someone special! If you post an outfit, be sure to tag it with ha:poolparty .

July 22-23: Summer Dance  The Summer Dance is just around the corner! You can fly solo, go with friends, or ask someone as your date. The theme will be Under The Sea, so dress appropriately! If you post an outfit, be sure to tag it with ha:summerdance .

These events will have a chatzy room, the link being provided on the day of the event, as well as a recording doc for everyone to keep track of what’s going on. This will count as one post for the activity check once it’s been posted. If you have any questions about these events, or if you have any suggestions for future events, please let us know!

Maya’s Pool Party Summary (Event)

Maya went to the Harvest Academy pool party where she spoke with her student, Laney, and met Hinata. Laney brought a new drink to taste-test: lemonade infused with watermelon. Maya suggested that she go with her instinct and add mint. Hinata expressed interest in cooking (despite not being in the class) so Maya offered to show him how to make strawberry ice cream. 

Later, Maya had a conversation with one of her other students, Freya. She couldn’t shake the feeling that she might be lonely in the class. Maya decided to call over her other student, Raeger, in the hopes they befriended each other. She promised to do more group projects in the future and plans to assign them as partners more often. 

Pete also approached her. The two had a misunderstanding when Pete thought she dismissed him, and he walked into the pool. Maya grew concerned that she hurt his feelings in some way, but once they cleared it up, they were able to laugh about it together. Neil interrupted them when he suddenly grabbed Maya and jumped into the pool with her. The two had a play-fight in the water and later watched the fireworks together before heading home.

Frey has a single color scheme for this pool party, her hair matching her outfit for the day perfectly! Instead of her usual two long twin tails, she decides to braid them this time around for a nice variety. And of course, to show a bit of modesty, she decides to match her swim suit with a nice cover-up before actually joining the school festivities.

𝓗𝓪𝓻𝓿𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓐𝓬𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓶𝔂 𝓟𝓸𝓸𝓵 𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽𝔂

It’s time to soak up some sun! The school’s pool has been transformed into a tropical paradise for everyone to enjoy. You can lounge on the chairs on the side and catch a tan, or you can jump in the pool for a refreshing splash! Refreshments such as lemonade, water, and sodas will be provided thanks to generous donations from our PTA, as well as a barbecue going so everyone can eat. We’ll have chicken and veggie skewers, as well as hot dogs. One or two staff will be in charge of the grilling duties, but are free to switch off with another staff member if they want to join in on the festivities!

Pool floats will be provided in a limited supply, as well as some squirt guns to add some more fun. Please be sure to return all items to the box you got them from, located near the barbecue grill. Staff members are to be monitoring the pool and students’ behavior during the pool party. Swimsuits should adequately cover all in attendance, and nothing inappropriate should be exposed or printed on said swimsuits. Failure to comply with the rules will result in being kicked out of the pool party and a stern talking to.
