Haabu’s bio is now up!
Haabu, the Rattlesnake of Beauty.
A calm, though somewhat picky kwami, Haabu often moves from holder to holder. Her definition of Beauty rarely aligns with human trends, and she often picks holders that feel that they are unworthy of her.
If you don't mine me asking, what made you decide to use a rattlesnake for the concept of beauty and what inspired her power?
Snakes are one of my favorite animals, so I wanted to do a concept that would reflect that and one that most people probably wouldn't choose for a snake. And also I just find snakes really beautiful. :)
As for her powers, it was the fact that Rattlesnakes are venomous, and I wanted to play around with the idea that some forms of Beauty can be toxic and controlling. I also wanted one of Habuu's former holders to be Medusa, so I wanted a power that could potentially be misinterpreted over many generations to create that myth.
