Hi! Do you have any advice on drawing sneeze art!

Hello! 👋✨

Hmm... I always find it hard to share advice on art—I still have so much to learn myself! And for sneeze stuff in particular too? Let's see...

For general behaviour when it comes to making art, know that you aren't always going to fully like the art you make. There are a lot of factors that limit what we can produce from reaching the ideal image in our heads, so try not to feel disheartened if you're not satisfied with what you've made. It just means you understand that there are better ways of approaching what you want to express, which is part of the process! I think a healthy way of approaching it is taking time to appreciate what you do like about what you make, while learning to improve what you feel needs it.

Speaking of improving, a skill you can develop for that is using reference! Whether it's poses, design motifs, or a style you like, figuring out how to learn from references and implement them into your pieces without directly copying them is an understated but important skill.

For sneeze stuff specifically, be indulgent to yourself! If you're drawing what you like, it can be easier to go at it again and again from different angles, maybe with different techniques you've picked up, or with variations or emphasis on different factors—and then suddenly you have a fairly consistent subject to review to find changes you feel more comfortable implementing on a more permanent basis!

I hope any bit of this stuff is helpful 😅 Realistically, everyone has a different creative process and developing a healthy relationship with yours is important if you want to pursue art! 💖

i’m just asking since i feel that requesting a drawing is about the same as commissioning you to draw something 💭

Requests do extend to drawings, yes!

The difference between placing a request through my asks and commissioning me is that with the exchange of payment, I am obliged to provide you the service of drawing for you! With a request, it's not guaranteed I'll draw it.

I do have a bunch of requests in here I've been sitting on for a while that I may get to, but I can't promise I will draw all requests in my inbox
