Somewhere in the West
Continuing my month-long series of posts on New Mexico and the Great Divide: here we see another rather flat crossing of the divide a few miles north of Hachita as well as the cemetery one mile south of the tiny burg. This will be the southern most point I'll visit while doing this project.

The greatest highlight of my #RoswellNewMexico #4thOfJuly trip just a few weeks ago was the friendships I made with people in the #BootheelCommunities of the state. The people of #Hachita were super friendly with endless #UfoStories to tell. I felt welcome in the community as an artists and they had a place for me to settle in for the night!
