&& · ——— zen had started to regret asking seven to dinner with him after his show. not that he didn’t like the hacker-actually, his dilemma could be considered quite the opposite. it seemed the actor like seven too much.
seven sat across from him, a table set for two, speaking animatedly about zen’s most recent performance. zen usually quite enjoyed praise, and he’d be lying if he claimed he wasn’t enjoying it now. however, most of zen’s brain couldn’t handle this situation. he had never once in his life thought seven was cute before tonight. okay, that was a lie, but he’d never thought him cute in this sort of way.
“seven.......thank you..really...” his voice trailed off as he flashed a soft, genuine smile seven’s direction, “but honestly....i don’t know how much more praise i can handle.” he didn’t add the ‘without trying to hold your hand’ to that statement, though it was what he was really thinking.
