Hardpressed
Finished this novel Sunday night. Finally sitting down to write this review. This books is called Hardpressed by Meredith Wild her second novel in the Hacker series. First I would like to say, how unexpectedly my opinion changed. I enjoyed this book far better than the first one. There was more of a story. In the first novel I felt like Erica, the main character, was just running, running, running. And in this novel she is a fighter not just for her relationship with Blake but fighting against being controlled from everyone. To me she becomes a stronger person in her own right and therefore a strong more relatable character. That was one of the reasons for me not liking her in the first novel. No relatability. This book was far more dramatic than the one prior. Even though it isn’t realistic it was far more enjoyable read and I’m excited to get to the next book. I would recommend this book to some one who likes a bit spice in the novels they read. I hope to finish the third book within a week or two. Quite not sure yet. Depending on how much i read.
