        he could hear the soft typing of keys in his ear, the blue tooth sitting in his ear as he watches the different doors go up, and the green lights on the cameras go dark. he was happy to have an assistant in the department he didn’t understand much of.  (  the only area he was lacking  )  he let out a sigh as his hand finds it’s way to the top of the glass, his attention refocusing on the woman on the other end of the line.     ❝  okay, this is all great, cameras are off ——– one small problem, they upgraded the security, it’s in a glass case, something i didn’t PLAN for. what’s the play here?  ❞

        she let out a shaky breath, the thought of leaving to go on a vacation without her father was probably the scariest thought she could ever remember herself having. but it was for work, for herself. being able to finally see the world she had been deprived of since she was born, only seeing darkness ——– until she found her new family, of course. the people in her head, the people who understood her head. she wasn’t surprised when she felt the hand interlink with hers, in fact, she expected it, her lips curling into a smile as she gave the other’s hand a soft squeeze.    ❝  thought i was the one to hold your hand, jay.  ❞
