3D scan with skanect at Hack Manhattan
I swung by Hack Manhattan last night for the weekly tuesday project night. They scanned me using a kinect with skanect - I slowly spun in a chair while the kinect recorded the depth frames.
You can check out the 3D rendering here. The way I was sitting, it missed the top of my head, so that was smoothed in post processing. Netfabb was used to do that and fix mesh holes. Max added some hilarious text to it.
