I remember the video of Pharrell Williams struggling to deal with the hadeda noises when he visited South Africa and it always makes me smile bc they ARE loud and we all struggle with them sometimes. But I'm used to them by now

They’re incredibly beautiful and I love their songs. Also they’re an iconic South African bird and leaving them out would be a crime.
