Megumi: We already exchanged a few gifts. I got Yuma some more sugar-chan and he got me some new drawing pencils. We are supposed to have a meal together, but Kou and Yuma both volunteered to help, and uh...

Yui’s “New outfits” doesn’t even look that much different from her HDB, which is kind of a let down after the cuteness from LP.

Even the color scheme is pretty much identical. And yet, Yui’s outfit is the one I like best... because at least it looks cute, albeit recycled...

The others, though, I’m really pissed off about. All the boys used to have their own style, they customized their school uniforms to reflect their personalities and every outfit was unique. WTF is that new shit? Not only does everyone look the same, it’s unimaginative and simplistic. Oh sure, there are some unique details here and there, like Kanato’s frilly skirted shirt (?) or Shin’s hoodie but it’s nowhere as individualistic as the old uniforms. You could guess things about each boy’s personality just by the way they wore their uniform. Ayato’s loose necktie, Kou’s shit-ton of bling, Laito’s pimp jacket... But the new clothes don’t tell you anything.

When Rejet first released all the new art I was willing to give the new artist a chance and didn’t wanna bash them right away. Living up to Satoi’s style must be hard. But honestly, this new artist doesn’t know what they’re doing. Rejet has a huge fanbase, they have money, they can afford to pay somebody with proper skills. So it’s pretty unforgivable they hired someone with poor anatomy, design and shading skills.
