Chapter fourteen, part five
The next morning was monday and an ordinary day. It was a relieve for Deborah. And she didn't have to study. She could help with the little ones or the other ones with their homework. At first she got her old task of keeping the pantry in order. She inventorized the pantry and afterwards did the groceries with Peter at her side. She felt a little tension while driving to the grocery store. Would the boy be there? Would she recognise him and he her? It was over a year ago that she last saw him. So many things had changed since then. This could also be one of them.
Everything went fine. She got everything they needed, some extra things that were in sale and she never saw him. With all the groceries in the car she drove back home. A feeling of relieve went through her although it wouldn't have been bad to see him again. Maybe she felt a little disappointed also. Maybe she also wanted to see him again.
After monday the days went fast. Deborah got back into her normal routine easily. After a couple days it was like she had never left. Even sleeping with all her sisters in one room felt like normal again. Her backing and cooking stuff was still not used by her. It was a shame but she had no other choice.
