The Power of Dua
And if one was to say “La illaha illalah, wah-dahu la sharika lah, Lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala Kul-li shayin Qadeer.”
(There is no God but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the sovereignty, and His the praise, and He has power over everything.)
“And if this is said 100 times a day, that persons reward would be as if they had freed 10 slaves. As well as having 100 good actions/ deeds written for them, and 100 wrong actions/ sins are erased from them, and it this dua is also a form of protection from Satan for the day until the night. And no one will be in more higher regard than those who recite it more than they. ” [Bukari & Muslim]
And if one was to say “Alahumma anta rabi la illaha ila ant, khalaqtanee, waaana abduk, wa ana ala ahdik mstata-ht, authu bika min shree ma sana-ht, abooyh laka bi ni'mateeka aley, wa aboouh bi thenbee faghfirlee inawho la yeghfir uthunooba illa ant.”
(O Allah, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You have created me and I am Your slave. I am faithful in my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.)
The Prophet sallahu alahi wasalaam (peace and blessings be upon him) added that if somebody recited this dua during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be one of the people of Paradise. And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before morning, he will be one of the people of Paradise. (Bukari, and Others)
Brothers and Sisters these are but two duas of thousands. Of thousands. Look at the reward for the mere two duas we all can make in one day. I hope that you all take some time to read them and add them to your lives, and if not at least spread them so that the reward of spreading knowledge is bestowed upon you. InshAllah we all gain reward from making dua, salah, and constantly striving to become better Muslims. I did not include the Arabic writing of the Dua but if anyone wants it or has it and wants to add it I encourage that. Also, please feel free to add more Dua’s to this post so that by the time it comes back around there are many to help our brothers and sisters. Ameen, inshAllah and May Allah grant us all Jannah (Paradise). Jazak Allah Khair 😊
