I miss tumblr. I miss updating. So I’m going to try and get back to it.

I pretty much got swallowed into school, we had a pharmco cat this week. The last one before the finals. Next week I have a patho, haematology and clinical chemistry cat all rolled into one paper, and the next day I’ll have my paediatric exam.

I’m mentally exhausted but it’s just a little more to go so I better start studying for finals.

I ate a whole load of crap this week so I’m feeling pretty sick, the great British bake off did not help my situation. Hopefully I’ll wash that feeling away with water and home food.

My plan for the weekend is to tackle as much haemat, patho and clin chem as possible until Thursday. I took a “break” from the library today. I didnt stay back in the evenings but i went in the morning whenever i had a free. From tomorrow it’s a full day thing.

That’s pretty much everything on my mind right now :)

Haemat lab is gr9

I’ve somewhat figured out what thalassaemia I have through theory and lab sessions using my own blood samples!!!!

I think I can confirm I have alpha-thalassaemia minor c: (my parents forgot which one my dad and I have so that’s why I’m so determined to find out hahaha)

Cool shit bruh. My lecturer kept my pbf too! (but idk if it’s still in the lab cuz I’m not sure if the microcytosis is rly easy to see- even though both my fbc results flagged microcytosis)

I’m so excited for myself aaaa!!! my classmate was excited for me too cuz #specialblood HAHAHA~ but I can’t believe my other classmates who - definitely don’t have thalassaemia - were searching for “golfball” cells. Like- um?? didn’t our lecturer just explain–? oh well, I hope they had fun though~ lab is fun!! it made us nauseous though, looking at all those cells and moving the slide around omg..

I’m thinking if I should specialise in haematology in the future or nah… hm I still don’t really know.. but first, I have to get into uni! Criessss

I’ve kinda given up on clinchem _(:‘3 I don’t understand what the question wants haha, will discuss with groupmates tomorrow then..

Reading up on haemopoiesis /o/! gonna make my textbook really blue all over haha!

this coffee table is really small for me, given that I like to take up nearly the whole length of a regular dining table.. (I’m a messy person c:) but it still beats not having a table for myself! I didn’t have to move my stuff away when it was dinner time haha yay!

Hopefully I’ll reach the end of this chapter and start on the next one before I go to bed today and hopefully I’ll be able to sleep @v@. I drank like two cups of green tea just now just cuz
