What's Up Wednesday: Snakes!

Did you know there are no snakes in Ireland, Newfoundland, New Zealand or on numerous south sea archipelagos, but there are a lot in Texas?

Free nature programs are held on the second Saturday of each month year around at  Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. Presented by the Friends of Hagerman, they include a talk indoors and outdoors with many including a brief filed trip around the Refuge.

On Saturday January 11, learn about the snakes of northern Texas. Contact the refuge for details! Hagerman is home to a many species:
