Killing Tenya Iida !
Hi! okay this is smthn i wrote for school, you can ignore this if you want :) its nothing fandom related so it't okay!
Early in the morning, the grass was covered in dew. The two girls ran around in the field behind their houses, wetting their feet as they ran. Through the air, their giggles echoed through the valley that dipped below them.. The sun had yet to rise over the small town, and usually parents would advise against children being out this morning. However, it was only a matter of the children being able to climb down from their windows to get out. Luna, the shorter, more innocent one of the two girls, Managed to keep a ladder underneath her bed. And once she woke up, she hooked it onto her window and climbed down into her backyard. Prima, on the other hand, jumped out of her window. Luna had attempted to ask her how she would get back in, but Prima only answered with
"I'll figure it out when I need back in"
"Are you serious? Prima, what if you can't get back in!"
"I break in through the living room window, say I had woken up and was getting breakfast. Easy"
Luna frowned, one thing she hated more than getting in trouble was the idea of her friends getting in trouble.
"Lune, Cheer up, it's my problem not yours!"
Prima held Lunas face in her hand. Both of them had decided to lay in the wet grass. And laid facing each other. Taking her finger, Prima poked at the edge of Lunas mouth until she was smiling again.
"There's my happy little moon"
Luna couldn't help but smile. Lune had been a recurring nickname since she was three. Only her closest friends EVER called her Lune. Not only that, but Prima was happy. That wasn't so common now that school was back in. Many people would often take Prima as a delinquent, That wasn't quite the case though. She was often gentle, and took care to have everything in on time. Though something that often got her in trouble was how she would defend anyone without hesitation.
Luna let her head fall against the grass, And as she did, loose pieces of grass began to tangle themselves into her soft hair. Prima laughed.
"W-what! All I did was lay down"
"Well, for starters, Your hair is going to be FILLED with grass"
Prima snorted, and Luna laughed. Their innocent giggles occupied the air once more. Two friends, Two souls, like a planet and its moon. They were inseparable.
The sun began to rise slowly, and the day spread from beyond the horizon. Birds began their morning call, and trees began their daily dance with the wind. The moon faded behind the clouds and the sky radiated it's magnificent blue hue. It was a warm, wonderful day.
The school's bells rang out like an angels choir. Students stood lined up at their doors, waiting for permission of entrance. Teachers quietly chatted over their coffee mugs about the simpler things in life. Luna watched as Prima ran as fast as she could up to the doors. Out of breath, Prima made her way to her class.
Finding her place in line, Prima budged her way into her spot. Frantically, she looked left and right to see if anyone had noticed. Though the only clue she got towards that was a soft giggle from beside her. Prima turned to find the source of the laughter, ready to clock anyone who would think to try to get her in trouble. Yet, instead of some preppy loser, she met eyes with Luna. Prima dropped her guard. Of course it was only Luna. Prima let out a sigh, and let in a smile.
"So where have you been?"
Luna chirped, with a smile.
"Rough night, homework by the loads"
The dark bags under Prima's eyes must have sold it. She didn't sleep at all. Luna shook her head, disappointed in her friend.
"What happened to mental health over grades?"
"Found dead in a ditch somewhere, if i'm honest"
Both of the girls laughed. People around them turned to see what the commotion was. Luna and Prima ended up shushing each other before they got any more sideways looks.
Classes were called into the school one by one. Eventually, Prima and Luna were split, and the day went on as usual. Classes were the same as always, beginning with teachers demanding the nights homework, than going on with the lesson. Bells continued to ring, and eventually the day had ended. After school was released, Prima and Luna met once more.
The wind was warm, and the sky was blue. The girls laughed as they walked home together. Without telling anyone, The two of them decided to take a detour on their route home, stopping to walk along the beach.
Waves lapped the sand in an endless cycle. Sand was dragged into the depths of the ocean like hands grabbing onto it and never letting go. Prima kicked off her shoes, and tore off her socks by the line where the sand met the dirt, and went running for the water. Luna followed.
"God, Isn't this amazing? Tell me this isn't perfect!"
Prima kicked at the water, which was up to her shins. Twirling in the endless ocean. Luna, who was for once, wearing pants instead of a skirt, pulled her pants up to her knees and ran in after prima.
The two played, trying not to splash too much water at one another. Both also had to try their best to stay on their feet, though trying not to get wet was quite the task while playing in the ocean. While running around carelessly, Prima lost her balance, almost falling backwards. Luna managed to catch her hand, but that didn't work out in Either of their favours. Prima ended up pulling Luna into the water with her.
Quickly pulling herself up, Luna began to panic.
"Oh no, oh no oh no oh no, this is BAD..."
Sitting up in the water, Prima tilted her head to the sky.
"Oh, we're fucked aren't we?"
Luna turned around to see prima still sitting in the water, which reached to about Primas chest.
"Prima, get up, you're just making it worse for yourself! There's NO chance you'll be able to dry off if you STAY in the water"
"And there was no chance of drying off before I stayed here, Your point?"
Luna took a breath to argue back, but didn't. She walked herself back to shore to sit in the sand, in hopes of at least drying off a bit. Prima eventually pulled herself out of the water as well, And as she walked, her clothes dripped with water.
Luna dug her toes into the sand as the sat. And Prima came and sat right beside her.
"So, didn't I tell you STAYING in the water would only make it worse?"
"Oh cap it Lune, I could care less"
Prima sat back, sliding her arms behind her head as she laid down on the sand.
"At least our socks and shoes are dry, makes the walk of shame a little less unbearable"
Luna scootched back from where she was sitting, and ran her soft hands through Prima's wavy red hair.
"So, now not only are you soaked, you have sand in your hair too."
"Ah, so you're my mom now? Does that mean I can call you mommy?"
Luna smacked Prima in the arm, gently of course
"Do NOT"
Prima laughed, though, it seemed only Prima found that joke funny.
The two girls than made their trek home. Luna had managed to dry off her shirt, and her pants down to the ankles. Prima on the other hand, was still drenched.
Prima walked carelessly, she ran her fingers through her hair in an attempt to straighten in. Yet it fell into a curl in revolution. Luna tried her best to keep a bit of distance, she didn't want Prima to get her all wet.
"Whatcha thinkin bout' Lune?"
Primas words startled Luna, She wasn't expecting a conversation out of nowhere.
"..nothing, I was just keeping quiet because you were."
"You sure? You look troubled"
"You pulled me into the ocean, I was SOAKED"
"So you're MAD at me? damn, what a low blow."
"I-I never said I was MAD at you"
"Mhm, but it sure sounds like it"
Luna sighed, She wasn't actually mad at Prima, just mildly frustrated. Strict parents were always a pain. And she knew Prima had extremely strict parents.
"Aren't you scared?"
Prima raised an eyebrow.
"Scared of what?"
The two of them stopped in the middle of a sidewalk, Though not a to popular one. Leaves floated and fell to the ground, Wilting as they did. The sun was warm, and the breeze had cooled down quite a bit. It was an ideal fall day. The grass was plastered with yellows, reds, oranges and the ever occasional green. The wind carried blades of grass, and made an attempt to carry luna's wavy magenta hair with it.
"Your parents. Don't they terrify you? It's practically all I hear at night anymore. Yelling, screaming, crying. It worries me."
Luna gave a teary eyed look to Prima, whos immediate reaction was to pull Luna in close with a hug. Prima didn't break face, she simply rubbed Lunas back.
"They do scare me, i'll be honest. But they've never physically hurt me. You shouldn't have to worry. If anything ever happened I would tell you. That's a promise
Luna looked up at prima, most of her tears dried already. Loosening her arms, she than wrapped them around Primas neck. Prima, holding Luna by the waist, rested her elbows on Lunas hips.
"It's alright, My little Lune. I would never let anyone hurt you. Or me. Don't you worry at all"
The two of them pulled away from their hug, only for luna to than seem disgusted
"Damn it you got me all wet!!"
Prima laughed, whole heartedly. Luna didn't find it as funny. Eventually, Luna got over the whole being soaked thing.
As the two of them walked home, they ended up holding hands. Neither of them had many friends, so they valued each other more than anything else.
The Sky fell dark into its bed of clouds, and the moon arose from its rest. The stars Danced together, clearing the emptiness of the night, and in the pale moonlight, animals ran and hunted.
Since the afternoon, Luna hadn't been able to get her interaction with Prima off her mind. How Prima had held her, And how they held hands on their way home. Luna knew Prima had lied. Often, Luna saw scars on Primas arm. Luna knew that was unacceptable, but she had never thought of a way to do anything about it.
Through the night, it had dawned on her that she could do something. Luna didn't sleep, and even if she drifted off, she was dragged back to herself. The thought she had disgusted her, but she was unable to dismiss it.
Like a shadow sneaking through the night, Luna was undetected. She took what she would need, and slipped out of her front door without a sound.
Prima was sleeping, not as soundly as she believed Luna was, but she was asleep nonetheless. Primas parents were still awake, the lights in the living room stayed on. It was highly likely they were drinking. Since they were awake, it was obvious that the doors and windows would be unlocked. Like a shadow, Luna slipped through an unlocked window. Luna had a few second thoughts. But she realized that since they're abusive drunks, some screaming wouldn't be far out of the usual.
Luna crawled behind the couch, both of Primas parents were there. The man was curled over, but the woman was sitting exposed. Luna took her chance, and never looked back. Positioning herself behind the horrid woman, she Took her knife across the front of her throat. It was a clean cut, if anything to be appreciated. The woman attempted to scream, yet after the first slash, Luna drove the knife in hand as far into the womans neck as possible. There was no scream, Nothing more than a gurgle. As the life left her body, the womans head fell back lifelessly. There was no color in her eyes, and her stare was empty.
Luna had her last target left. The father. Luna ducked back behind the couch in caution. The man sat up, most likely to poke fun at his wife, yet when he sat up, there was no poking fun, His wife was dead. The man screamed in horror, terror even.
Luna used up all of her strength to drive her weapon into the back of the mans neck. He didn't move again, though we wasn't dead. Luna heard him still breathing. Luna slashed, and slashed at the mans body, until there wasn't even a heartbeat.
Luna stood up, slowly, in recoil. She stared at what she had done. Her head didn't spin, and she felt no nausea. All she could hear was her heart beat.. And footsteps from upstairs.
Prima was awoken by a sudden, vile scream from her father. She held her blanket tightly in her hand. No tears fell, but the fear was imbedded in her mind. Had mother done something?
Prima shook as she stood from her bed. She didn't want to be hurt either. But she cared for both of her parents. Slowly, prima crept down the stairs. And oh, what a sight she was met with.
"L-LUNA!"
Prima ran down the stairs as fast as she could. Her little Lune was there, covered in blood.
Luna turned around slowly. Her thoughts became a mess. The knife was still in her hand, Primas parents were dead behind her. There was no explanation. Well, maybe no explanation, but Luna knew Prima wouldn't suspect her little Lune, especially if said little Lune was broken down in tears.
Prima pulled Luna into her arms in a panic. Not noticing the knife in Lunas hand. Prima was in an extreme state of panic. Of course she would be, her parents are dead in front of her, and her only friend is standing, shaking in her arms.
"W-we need to do something, we need to call someone, we need help, we can't just.."
Prima trailed off, trying to gather her thoughts. While Luna silently panicked in her arms. Prima stopped herself, and moved her attention to her little Lune
"H-hey, what happened here.. You would've seen something right?.. Please, Lune, I want to be able to do something.
Luna looked up at Prima, with tears in her eyes, almost like the afternoon before. Prima ran her hands through Lunas soft hair.
"It's okay Lune, I know it would be hard to just say it. It was probably beyond traumatizing wasn't it?"
Luna didn't react. She wanted prima to know what happened. She wanted Prima to be grateful. But as of right now, she knew Prima would freak out. There was no doubt about it.
Prima went to take Luna by the by the hand, to assure everything would turn out fine. But She froze.
Primas body filled with fear, She backed away. None of her wanted to believe it. Luna looked up, at Prima. Why was she backing away? What happened? Luna took a step towards Prima.
"W-what are you doing, s-stay away from me!"
Luna stopped. Ah, she must've noticed the knife, That must be it. Luna dropped her gaze to the knife in her hand. The aluminum was stained a bloody crimson. It was oddly beautiful, the way the light shone through the blood. Luna sighed and threw the knife to the side, than held her hands up to prove she was no longer armed.
Prima was stunned, she honestly couldn't think anymore. It was incomprehensible. Her best, only friend, small and innocent. Who Prima thought could never hurt a fly. Had murdered her parents.
From the other side of the room, Luna spoke, in hopes that Prima was listening.
"I know, I know what I did, it's right there after all. I know you're scared, but I did this for you. It might be hard to understand right now, but I promise, when I have the time, I can explain it."
"E-explain? You think you can just EXPLAIN why you murdered my parents? Are you sick in the head Luna?"
It took Luna a moment to process what was said. Sick in the head? Was Prima serious? I did this for you, how am I the one sick in the head? I did this to protect you!
"You think i'm sick? I did this for you!" "How! Luna you killed my fucking parents, how is this done for me?!"
"It was to protect you! I KNOW they beat you, and they abused you! I couldn't stand for it anymore. Now they can't hurt you!"
"Well no shit, they're dead, because of YOU"
Luna wasn't used to Prima yelling. No, she was used to Prima yelling, just not at her. Prima fumed, no longer terrified by the sight of her parents corpses, she went for the phone.
"PRIMA DON'T"
Dead in her tracks, she stopped again. That was new. Something she had never heard before, Luna yelling. Than she realized why.
"Why shouldn't I? My parents are DEAD, Luna, DEAD! How am I supposed to NOT call the cops?"
Luna hesitated once more, it was terrifyingly clear that Prima wasn't with her. If anything, Prima knew what she did, And she's still covered in the blood of the deceased.
"Because They'll find me! Prima please! We can work this out, I promise!"
"Of course They'll find you, Thats the point! I don't feel safe with you just walking around any more! I think it's better IF they find you."
Luna felt a tear fall, Had she already been crying? It was a possibility.
"P-Prima, i-"
Luna stopped, she couldn't bring herself to say why. Prima was almost to the phone anyways. But, If she never got to see Prima again… she could never express what she feels.
"I DID IT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, OKAY? I DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO HURT YOU! EVER AGAIN, THEY HAD TO GO PRIMA, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?"
Luna choked on her words as they came out, but it was definitely far more than enough to make Prima stop. Slowly, prima turned to luna. She had a look of fear in her eyes. Not just a look, a gleam. No, maybe it wasn't fear. It's more probable that it was disgust.
"L-luna, what did you just say"
"I- I said th- that it's because i-"
Luna couldn't continue. This was the last way she would've expected this scenario to turn out. Her body started to hurt. Prima couldn't truly speak out either. The night was hell, and by all means, thats how it ended.
"L-Luna, how do you expect me to, E-even if I did, how could I ever love you?"
Luna didn't move, She fell to her knees. Of course Prima didn't understand. What she felt was something only she could understand anyways. Luna was hardly breathing at this point, though breathing more than the corpses behind her.
Prima took slow, calm steps towards the phone. She knew she had to contact someone, if not the cops. Prima had to get a hold of someone who could help her.
"No"
Prima froze, what did Luna say? No?
"I can't let you call anyone. Nor can I let you escape. Either you calm down, and listen to me, or i'll be forced to kill you as well."
Prima turned around to see luna, whom was standing with the knife in her hands. Prima stumbled back, falling over. Luna took this opportunity to keep Prima in one place. Holding the knife to Primas kneck, Luna began to speak.
"You'll listen to me now? Right?"
Luna didn't take the chance to speak out of place, she nodded gently. She had no wish to be hurt.
"Good, now, what you're going to do is go back to sleep like nothing happened. When you wake up, you'll call the police stating your parents are dead. You will not tell them anything that had happened. When they try to refer you to other relatives, they'll find out you have none, and attempt to move you to some sort of foster care. When that happens, i'll do my best to have my parents decide to take you in. Does that make sense?"
Prima had no idea what Luna was really trying to do. She was still afraid. Though the knife was no longer to her throat. She took a moment to breathe.
"..I don't get it. You want me to end up with your family, but, didn't you just say you loved me?"
"I only want this so I can protect you. If we stay like that, we're as close as we can be. No one would hurt you again. Wouldn't that be wonderful?"
Prima couldn't respond. She didn't know how. Then a thought flashed through her head. It was a disgusting, dark thought. But it wouldn't leave. Luna had moved off of Prima for the most part, so Prima took her chance, because for all she knew, it could be her last.
Swiping the stained knife off the floor, she rammed into Lunas stomach. Under all of the pressure swung at her, Luna fell to her back, lying face up. She tried to scream, but Prima Held her hand over Lunas mouth.
Luna's weak arms began to shake, and tears rolled from her eyes to no end. Prima cautiously lifted her hand from Lunas mouth.
"P- prim a…"
Luna stared in fear. Her body wouldn't move.
Prima didn't respond. All she did was bring Lunas hands into hers, holding them gently, as her tears fell onto them.
"L-luna, I'm sorry, I'm so, so Sorry. I just can't."
Prima stuttered through her tears, holding Luna's hands close. Luna tried to smile in resignation. She recognized that she deserved what had happened to her. It became hard to breathe. Luna silently pondered wether Prima had meant to aim for her lung
"..I- I'm sorry, Prima"
There was a resonating pain in Lunas eyes that Prima couldn't bear to see. It was almost too hard for Luna to breathe anymore. Though she didn't want to let go. She wanted to stay with Prima forever. Eventually, Luna faded. It was silent, and calm. She seemed to have accepted her demise as it came to her.
For a while, Prima still held Lunas hands. She held Her small hands until they had gone completely cold. Lifeless even. Prima made not a noise, she simply sobbed in silence. And after a while, She turned to the clock
"4: 05 AM"
..Yesterday, Right now, Two girls ran together in a dew covered field.
"4: 10 AM"
..Today, Right now, Two girls lay dead together In the kitchen of a two floored bungalow.
And some people say, If you listen closely, You can still hear their laughter ringing through the valley.
