I went to the opening of the new Van Gogh exhibition at the Amsterdam archives last night and the director of the Van Gogh museum was there too and I just realized that I had a conversation with him way back when I did a hostessing gig for the Stedelijke museum. And that during this conversation I had no idea who he was and I talked to him about the most mundane / dumb things and I am so ashamed.
