Awash with a whole spectrum of emotions, Mizuki stood silently within the apartment that she now had to call home. Her thoughts drifted away to an imaginary future back on the surface. This place, as nice as it was, couldn't possibly replace the dulcet life she once had. The girl always dreamed that she would marry for love, like many others, but now that was merely wishful thinking. Well, the adolescent should be happy. She was giving a second chance at life, and that's all what matter now. She was healthy, which was something in itself, and has everything she needs on her doorstep.
"I should really go along with the doctor's wishes. It would only be rude and ungrateful." She murmured into the empty room she was within. Painfully loneliness shadowed her like a cloudy night as she waited restlessly for her companion. If she stayed in the room much longer, she'll succumb to the negativity that is waiting to dig its nails in. Well, there was nothing stopping her from waiting outside? She could sit on a bench that was located outside the apartment complex and people watch or read. Anything was better than staying indoors at least!
Perking up immediately, the pinkette trotted outside after grabbing the closest book to her. Locking the door behind her, the girl hummed subconsciously whilst she wandered her way to the bench, taking in the sounds as she went along. With all her complaining, she can't deny that civ 9 was actually a nice place. Giving the city a chance would be the best thing for her.
Mizuki parked herself and scanned the area whilst absent-mindedly twirling a curl around her fingers. Wait....who was that? The male seemed new and since she knew what it's like to be stuck in a strange place. All she wanted was a friendly face to say hello. She skipped over to the teenager and tugged lightly on his jacket sleeve before a blush invaded her fair features. God, what was she doing? This was embarrassing.
"I-I'm really sorry to disturb you. But are you new to this place? I...know what it's like to be new without friends...erm....I'm not weird or anything!!" Come on. Spit it out. " But would you like to get some tea with me? I-it'll be my treat! I'm Mizuki Himeji...by the way..." Way to sound like a nervous idiot, girly.
