NAYUN MY BEAUTIFUL SWEET AMAZING SWEETHEART COULD I REQUEST SMTHHH
ok so im thinking timeskip kita x city girl reader. basically kita's working on his farm making a solid living still sticking to his consistency and routines all that. but then one day this new girl comes to town like full on city style clothing heels vibe everything. u can pick why she came but i was thinking maybe it was js an impulsive decision after some drama with her "friends" or wtv
anyways kita's immediately enamored with her and of course when hes set on something he follows through. so he shows her around the town, gives her a little tour, gives recommendations for foods and drinks, js is super welcoming and is such a gentleman.
and then over the few weeks that she's there they end up of course falling in love. and the town also loves her and she adores rhe town etc etc
he realizes that even though she's the most abnormal thing thats happened to his life in a long time, and GASP he doesnt mind at all!! hes willing to make exceptions in his routine and consistent lifestyle all for her. and she realizes that what she thought was just an impulsive decision to a random farm area in Japan actually has made her happier than she's maybe ever been in the city.
yeah so the ending ahem might involve separation or compromise or long distance idk but all those are a little angsty so if you dont wanna write that feel completely free to js end earlier
ok that was a lot longer than i meant it to be sorry abt that but yes take ur time w this and hopefully its fun for u to write!! sending hugs and kisses my long distance bby :333
The Exotic Flower (Kita Shinsuke x City/Cool Girl!Reader) Part 1
part 1, part 2
a/n & TW: OF COURSE ANYA ANYTHING FOR YOUUU. Just a warning, I am no expert of Japanese culture, and even if I was, people are all different, so I’m sorry if the fic doesn’t really align with Japanese norms or society. TW- there will be pretty harsh profanity (especially the start), mentions of drinking/alcohol (I never drank before so I hope I described it okay), friendship break ups, bad friends.
"You better hope that I never catch you bitch. You're a fucking backstabber, and I will pray everyday for your downfall. You're done. Never show your ugly ass face agai-" "Yumi shut up. You're drunk and you're being unreasonable." "Fuck unreasonable. Y/N, you're a hoe, and I hate you. I will kill yo-."
And the voice-mail cut.
You sighed, digging your perfectly manicured fingers into your scalp, hair matted but still soft. The sigh dragged through your lips to the air, your breath still smelling like vodka and the other numerous drinks you had ingested last night. Or was it this morning?
The view seemed to taunt you with the warm sun spreading its rays as golden threads passed through the bus window and settled against your tight tank top and now messy hair. Uncomfortably adjusting your miniskirt, the gravity of the situation suddenly dawned on you; you were in a random ass bus to who-knows-where, you had only your phone and wallet in your small purse, and you were definitely in the middle stage of being drunk and hungover. Oh, and your "friend" completely lost her shit when she saw you talking to her crush, Kuroo Tetsurou. In your defense, he had walked up to you and was just being friendly, but nooo, when you tried to explain that to Yumi, she just screamed and threw her shot glass at you, hence the cut on your cheek.
It didn't matter anymore. Maybe this was a sign from God to just leave. You loved your life- the city was your home, and you had always admired the glitz and glam, but things had gotten to a point where you just needed to leave and have some fucking room to breathe.
Tapping your screen, you blocked that bitch Yumi and the rest of your so-called "friends" before staring out the window. It was startling, the change of scenery that you saw; the large skyscrapers and dirty concrete streets were replaced with rows of rice paddies, grazing fields, and large, looming trees bearing fruit that looked incredibly ripe.
Wait, where the fuck were you? Your eyes flew to your phone, and as you tried to open the map app, the stupid thing died on you. The audacity. Well, at least you saw that the time was 5:24 in the morning, meaning that you had been on the bus for like 2 hours. Fuck. How were you going to get home?
Soon, the bus pulled to the last stop, and you shoved your phone into your handbag. You clumsily got off, nearly breaking your ankle in your 4 inch strappy heels that you now regretted ever even purchasing. Cursing softly, you sat on a wooden bench, and tore off those death traps, leaving you barefoot, drunk, and absolutely lost in this foreign environment. You blinked away the tears slowly accumulating in your eyes. I can’t cry now.
Maybe if you started crying someone would feel bad enough for you and allow you to use their phone. Or maybe you would just look like a lost stripper.
Mascara smudged, lipstick smeared, and tights torn, you clutched your shoes, phone, and wallet and unsteadily got to your feet, wandering the fields, noticing how peaceful and quiet it was around here. The fresh air and the stillness of nature felt better than the toxic, nicotine-laced air of the city, and you could feel the tenseness in your shoulders relax.
And uh, you relaxed too much maybe, because you suddenly went flying, knees giving out from the alcohol and lack of footwear. Well, there goes the last shred of my dignity and my face, you thought, resigning yourself to the fate of bashing your skull against the stone path.
Well, they do say expect the unexpected because suddenly, you were being held up by strong hands in scratchy gloves, a steady male voice asking, “Miss, are you okay? Miss?”
You dreamily sighed and burst into a laughing fit. “I’m so drunk I’m seeing a hot ass prince charming rescuing me.” The last intoxicated giggle left your red stained lips before you passed out in the farmer’s arms.
“Fuuuuck,” you groaned, rubbing your head with your palm, immediately feeling the pounding headache, emptiness of your stomach, the sting in your cheek, and the dryness of your throat all at once. “Oh God, where the fuck am I?” You sat up and whipped your head around, staring at the unfamiliar room. There was a small metal clock in the middle of a plain blue wall, and it ticked softly. Your phone and wallet were next to you and the futon you were on. It was 10:47 in the morning, meaning you had knocked out for around 5 freaking hours.
It all began rushing back- you drunkenly stumbling around, you nearly falling, and… you basically fainting in the arms of a hot farmer with oreo hair. Your face flushed from the embarrassment as you remembered your stupid behavior. Your voice rang in your head.“I’m so drunk I’m seeing a hot ass prince charming rescuing me.” Ugh, and your stupid giggles.
What the hell is wrong with you Y/N? Wait. Where am I? You grabbed your phone and unsteadily got to your feet, head still throbbing and legs still like jelly. Hesitantly, you opened the brown door and you were met with the glorious, mouthwatering sight of the same framer in the living room hauling a large sack.
The house was quaint and pristine- consisting of minimal furniture, some farm tools, and a sleeping black cat on the cream coloured couch.
“Oh, hello Miss. Are you feeling any better?” The farmer’s voice cut through your thoughts, and you raised your eyes to meet his burnt-honey coloured ones. God he was beautiful. “Yes,” you coughed, “I’m feeling much better, thank you. I’m so sorry for that,” you winced, “horrifying display you had to see of me earlier. And thank you so so much for taking care of me, uh-” “Kita. My name’s Kita. You’re welcome, and it’s okay- everyone goes through difficulties, and I don’t judge you.”
Kita’s expression was rather blank but not unkind, and you smiled widely at his words. “Thank you so much Kita-san. My name is L/N Y/N. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but could you please tell me where we are?” As he explained that you were in the largest rice paddy field in the Hyogo Prefecture, you realised that you were very far from your home, if the 2 hour bus ride that took to get here wasn’t enough indicator.
You nodded, thanked him for the information, and bashedly asked for the bathroom, which he pointed you to. Clicking the door shut, you sighed and leaned against the it. Idiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiotidiot.
The girl staring back at you in the mirror was either a clown from a horror movie or a mental asylum patient considering the smudged makeup, tousled hair, and crumpled/torn clothes. You winced, realising just how a mess you looked like.
“Looks like I’m spending the next 20 minutes fixing my face.”
Kita’s POV
Beautiful.
It was an uninvited thought, not because he didn’t find things in life beautiful. The fading sun at the end of the day pooling its remaining light in the rice paddies was beautiful. The sight of the misty mountains in the distance was like a storybook illustration- beautiful.
But L/N Y/N’s beauty grabbed his attention in a way unlike other. She stood out from the beautiful landscape, seemingly lifting off the page and popping out. Her torn black tights, her heel-less feet, and expensive-smelling perfume curling around her did not belong here. She was like a model from a beauty magazine cut out and clumsily pasted onto the streets of Hyogo.
Ordinarily, Kita did not welcome disruptions. He had his set schedule. His schedule worked. It promised consistency, and yet somehow, finding an unconscious stranger in the middle of a farm path had not irritated him nearly as much as it should have.
Kita Shinsuke stared into the space where she had stood moments ago. Her smiling face now replaced with the golden sun’s light, dust suspended in the still atmosphere. He remembered her laughs in the street- somehow sounding distant and bothered even with all that alcohol he had smelled on her.
“I’m so drunk I’m seeing a hot ass prince charming rescuing me.”
His lips almost twitched into a smile at that, but he also remembered the slice on your cheek- too clean and straight to have been a tree branch or accident.
Adjusting the sack on his shoulder, Kita Shinsuke turned away. He wondered what led to her coming here; L/N Y/N, the beautiful stranger that passed out in his arms.
And she was a stranger.
It wasn't his business.
Yet for some reason, he hoped she would stay long enough for him to find out.
You stepped out of the bathroom, unfortunately still in the same clothes- a tight top and miniskirt (you had discarded those cursed tights, and your shoes were outside) but at least face now clean of any makeup residue and hair brushed out. Your bracelets and hoop earrings were now in your hands, making soft clicks and clacks as you padded toward the window, and you spotted Kita.
Grinning, you stepped out of the small cottage and jogged up the road, hand still clutching your accessories and feet still bare, toward the farmer who had saved you. “Kita-san!” You called out. “Thank you so much for letting me use the bathroom an- Wait. Are those momos (Japanese peaches)?” You peered up the beautiful tree, mouth watering at the sight of the juicy, ripe fruit.
Kita quirked his brow. “Yes, these are Watanabe-san’s peaches.” “Oh Shinsuke!” A cheerful voice rang out, and a sweet old lady appeared, her sunhat fluttering slightly in the breeze.
“Hello Watanabe-san.” Kita said, bowing 90 degrees. “Oh, who’s this pretty lady?” She teased, looking over at you, and you blushed a bit. “Hello ma’am. Nice to meet you. My name is L/N Y/N. I was just admiring the peaches from your trees. They look amazing.” Watanabe-san’s smile grew even wider. “We-ell, you noticed, did you? Thank you dear, these peaches are my pride and joy. Here, try one.” Before you could protest, she plucked an especially pink one with the help of a metal rod and handed it to you.
“Well, thank you ma’am!” You bit into the fruit, eyes sparkling. “How delicious! Thank you.”
As Watanabe-san walked off, waving at you and Kita, you murmured, “Wow, the people are so kind…” Looking up at Kita, you asked, “Oh, Kita-san, could you please let me know where the closest convenience store is? I need to buy a phone charger and some water.”
He blinked back at you. “You could charge your phone at my house, and I have water too,” he mused. “Jesus, you’re really an angel, huh? I’m sorry for burdening you, but thanks.” “I chose to help you, L/N-san, and sharing some electricity and water isn’t exactly burdening.”
As he helped to plug your phone into the charger and handed you a glass of water, it was hard not to notice Kita Shinsuke’s amazing looks. He was fucking attractive- muscular with those piercing caramel eyes. Not only that, but he was incredibly sweet, not in a loud bubbly way, but in a steady pleasant way. The way he didn’t judge you but had helped you without question made you wonder if he really was an angel. How could anyone be this kind?
He lended you some slippers and ended up walking you to the convenience store, where you two, especially Kita, got teased by the people there, who all clearly knew each other. You two also went to the bus stop, where you found out that there was only one bus here a day from your neighborhood.
So that day, you followed Kita around like a baby chicken, helping him check his crops, load his truck with rice, and distribute the sacks to his customers. Halfway through, you acquired better clothes- a grey shirt and outdoor work pants from Kita’s shed, and you gratefully changed, shoving your stupid party clothes into a trash bin.
You had bombarded him with questions as well, bored and curious. And through your conversations, you found out he was 22 years old, a year younger than you, he used to play volleyball (so hot), he was a rice paddy field owner and farmer, and he was a stoic but caring soul.
At Kita’s last stop, you two hopped out of the truck, the sun already dipping into the horizon. The wind was more chilly now, the clouds more puffy, and the atmosphere more serene as you grabbed a sack of rice and Kita grabbed two (how the fuck did he carry two of these heavy ass bags so effortlessly? Were you attracted to him or were you jealous?).
Stepping in front of the gate, you knocked, and a dark haired, muscular man opened the gate and smiled at Kita and looked confused when he saw you. “Hey Shin, who’s this?” Kita sighed softly- this was the 10th time he had received this question. You giggled a little at this before answering for him. “Hello, my name is L/N Y/N. Kita-san and I just met today. I’m just helping him out because I owe him. Nice to meet you.”
The man seemed amused. “Well, ain’t that interestin’? My name’s Miya Osamu. I was a year below Shinsuke-kun in high school. I own this onigiri restaurant,” he said, gesturing to the cute shop behind him. Osamu grabbed the sack from you and brought you and Kita inside, where it was warm and smelled absolutely amazing. “Hungry?” Osamu asked as he and Kita settled down the rice, and you blushed. “I-” “Nah, just take this.” Osamu handed you a bag of onigiri and winked. “For my favourite volleyball cap’n and his new, ah, friend.”
You gratefully took the bag and thanked Osamu, basically salivating at the sight and smell of the food. People here in the country sure were friendly.
Osamu walked you and Kita out to the truck, and he said, “Oh and Y/N-san?” “Yes?” You asked. “Thanks for glitching our robot.” You flushed, strapping yourself into the truck as Kita’s eyes caught yours.
He’s such a kind soul…
Maybe… It would be nice if she stayed a little longer.
a/n: thank you again Anya for an amazing scenario. I hope I did your idea justice so far <3. I promise I'll post part 2 soon!!
