My Muse, My Muse (Sugawara Koshi x Artist! Reader)
a/n: this is purely self indulgent lmao because I draw and I love art <3 This is a schoolmates to lovers(?) kinda thing :))
This is just a relatively short, fluffy, cute drabble btw dont expect too much (but i realise that these kind of short fics get the most likes and interactions so-)
Happy reading!!!
“Ooh, what ‘ya drawing?” Nishinoya asked, snatching your travel sketchbook and looking at the newest drawing.
“Give that back!” You yelped, ripping off your headphones and immediately grabbing your sketchbook (quite easily due to his short stature) out of his curious hands and shutting it tight. “I’m never drawing at school again…” You mumbled as Nishinoya pouted at you.
It was a warm Tuesday afternoon, the golden sun streaming through the blinds and the sound of the persistent fan seemed to freeze you in a perfect moment until someone, cough, your best friend, ruined it. You swatted him away as you sat back down, calming your heart after that jumpscare had left your heart in shock. This was your idea of a perfect lunch at school- sketching quietly in an empty classroom, the temperature and atmosphere just perfect, with an interesting new subject or reference photo that you were itching to present on a page.
Of course, you loved chatting with your two chaotic friends during lunch in the cafeteria as well, but a lot of days at school just left you craving peace and solidarity, especially if you already had a lot of classes with them in the morning.
Now that your focus was interrupted, you groaned and shoved your pencils and erasers back into your pouch, carefully placing your sketchbook in your bag between your laptop and English notebook as you always did.
Grabbing the straps of your backpack, you reluctantly followed Nishinoya, who was bouncing by the doorway to eat outside in the grass as it, admittedly, was a beautiful day.
Wow, why have I never drawn that tree before? You asked yourself, admiring a stout but large tree with arching and twisting branches, not paying attention to where you stepped. And God, it was such a stupid move because when you took one more unsuspecting step with your neck twisted to observe a particularly complicated angle of the tree, you completely faceplanted into someone’s back.
You immediately took a step back shakily, apologising embarrassedly. “Oh God, I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”
When the person turned around to face you, you may have forgotten how to breathe for a second.
He was handsome. Breathtaking. Beautiful. The symmetry of his face, the cute moles, silver hair, and sweet smile had you staring like an idiot.
Oh, I would love to draw him. The hair, no, the eyes, his mole. Oh my God, he deserves to be captured with all my expensive pencils. Or paints. What medium would suit-
“Oh, no worries,” He laughed, instinctively reaching out to help you stabilize your footing.
“N-no, I’m really sorry. That was so stupid of me.” You exclaimed, feeling the heat rising in your face, so desperately wanting to study each atom of his face until you could sketch him without a reference photo.
His clear, soft laugh filled your ears, like a warm hand playing with your hair that comforted you and warmed you to your toes.
His hand lingered for a moment before he pulled away, and you joined the circle of volleyball players sitting on the grass. You already knew a few of them, and Noya and Tanaka introduced you to the rest of them, everybody greeting you cheerfully.
Kiyoko, you knew because you two best friends kept thirsting after her, Daichi, you had seen before, Asahi was new, Kageyama and Hinata you knew, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were new, Yachi you had talked to a bit before, and finally, Sugawara Koshi.
“Hi, my name’s Suga. I’m a year above you,” He said with a bright grin that for some reason made you feel even more embarrassed about knocking into him earlier.
“H-hey,” You whispered, and you cursed yourself for sounding so meek.
That was the first day that you started hanging out with the volleyball team; Noya and Tanaka were delighted that you started sitting with them more at lunch instead of cooping yourself up in a classroom alone during break. You, in turn, loved spending time with their friends, laughing at inside jokes and being made fun of (jokingly) for your lack of physical ability. It was like you had found your people, and you loved your friends, but one person kept tugging at your mind: Sugawara.
Every evening after the first time meeting him, you had attempted to draw him from memory, straining to remember every single detail of his face, redrawing the same eye at least 15 times but to no avail. Everyday at school, you would try your best to memorise his features in the short lunch periods without seeming like a creepy perv.
You were frustrated to no end, and you even resorted to stalking everyone’s socials from the team, but you couldn’t find a single photo of Suga, and the one team photo you found was blurry as fuck, and his face was tiny, not helping you at all. Your trashcan was filled to the brim with crumpled paper of your failed drawings, and it wasn’t like you could just click a photo of him and seem normal at the same time.
You felt like an obsessed stalker, constantly trying to figure out how to draw a proper portrait of him. It was eating you alive.
Until one day, when you were sprawled out on the grass as usual during lunch with the others, Noya grabbed your bag, rummaging for a snack when your sketchbook tumbled out, revealing pages upon pages of your different sketches and drawings of multiple media- pencil, watercolor, pastels, and more.
The team stared at the book as its pages fluttered in the wind. You felt your cheeks warm as you snatched the book and stuffed it back into your bag.
“You draw?” Daichi asked, and you bit your lip before nodding.
“Yeah, it’s just like a little hobby,” You waved off.
“What? Your drawings are so good!” Yamaguchi gushed, smiling from ear to ear, and Suga nodded.
You choked on your laugh. “T-thanks guys.”
“Draw me!” Suga exclaimed excitedly. “Please?”
Your world seemed to stop, and your breath hitched. The birds stopped cawing, the grass stopped dancing with the wind, and your eyes blew wide.
“A-are you serious?” You asked, and Suga’s eyes widened as well.
“No, no, you don’t have to. I just thought your drawings were cute. Sorry, that was demanding of me,” He responded.
“NO!” You yelped and cringed at how loud you were. “No, I mean, I would love to draw you. Genuinely. Can I… take a photo of you to draw then?”
Thudthudthudthud, your heart went as you felt the sweet taste of what you wanted nearing you finally.
Suga nodded, his blush now matching yours as you shakily clicked a photo of him. And another. Tanaka and Nishinoya glanced at each other with knowing smirks but didn’t say anything when you glared at them.
When lunch ended and you were strolling back to the classroom in a daze with Noya and Tanaka, they looked at you, wearing equally evil grins. “Yuu, Ryu. Not. A. Word.” You said, still feeling your heart pound. They giggled and skipped around you like they were the ones with a romantic interest (haha they don’t) anyway.
That night, you finally got to draw with a reference photo, and God, it was a game changer. Finally, you were able to capture his soft silver locks, his joyful eyes, and his handsome expression. You unknowingly spent a good 5 hours on it after rushing all your homework and dinner, wanting to capture every detail perfectly.
The next morning, you arrived at school early, gripping a paper bag that held your masterpiece as you tentatively yet excitedly approached the volleyball gym where the boys were having morning practice. Pushing open the door, you greeted everyone first, waving at Hinata, smiling at Kiyoko, and bowing at Coach Ukai.
When you found Suga taking a water break on the side, you walked up to him, feeling your heart rate increase.
“Hello,” You greeted. “I-uh, finished your drawing.” You thrust out the paper bag to him as he turned to you, smiling delightedly.
“Already? Wow, thank you!” He said, opening the bag and lifting the page out carefully. He gasped as he admired the drawing.
“I-wow. What? Wow,” He gasped breathlessly. “This is… amazing. Thank you, thank you! You captured me to look so… hmm, what’s the word?”
“Lovely?” You blurted. “N-not to say I made you lovely. Like, you’re lovely in general. No, wait, I mean- Well, you are lovely, what I’m trying to say-” You rambled like an absolute idiot.
Suga stared at you before bursting out laughing. “Oh my goodness, yes, that’s the word. Thank you so much. Actually. And thanks for the compliment by the way. I think you’re pretty lovely too.” He winked, and you felt your soul leave your body. “If you want, maybe I can take you out on a date to repay you?”
Your jaw dropped.
“I, yes, yes please. I would love that,” You replied, giddy with shock.
“Wel, thanks for the masterpiece Y/N-san~ See you after class,” He said, jogging back to finish his drills, leaving you with a fluttering heart.

Happy reading <3
“I can’t believe that my best friend is going to compete for the Ms. Olympia title,” Tendou exclaimed over the phone after you had shyly told him. His already large eyes widened with excitement as he bounced off the walls, leaving you in a joyous daze.
You had worked hard for years in the gym, building every muscle into perfection as you dreamed of competing in a professional league. And after a long while, you had done enough competitions and earned enough points on your IFBB Pro Card, meeting the Olympia Qualification System (OQS).
You and Tendou chatted for a little more as he asked you questions and hyped you up, listening to your worries.
“Bro, you’re going to be fucking amazing. I’ll buy a ticket to Vegas and watch the show. Don’t worry.” He concluded, and you thanked him and clicked off the video call.
You proceeded to do your stretching routine to relax and lengthen your muscles. Halfway through, you heard the door open, so you quickly got up to greet your boyfriend, who had just returned from practice with the Adlers.
“Hey Toshi!” You said, giving him a hug. “How was practice?”
“Volleyball practice today was quite similar to all the other days. However, Kageyama accidentally stepped on a ball and got a sprained ankle,” Wakatoshi responded, hanging his jacket on the rack.
You gasped. “Oh my God. That’s terrible.” You couldn’t imagine getting injured and being forced to sit out of your sport and winced just at the thought of it.
Ushijima nodded. “It was very unfortunate, but thankfully, it was not too serious, and he will recover within the month.”
You two continued to chatter, with mostly you asking questions as your boyfriend answered. He already knew about your competition; afterall, he had been the one to hold your hand as you had received the news about whether or not you had qualified for Ms. Olympia.
“Oh! I forgot! I made your favourite dish (a/n: it’s hayashi rice)! It’s the same recipe that your mom made that time.” You perked up, rushing to the kitchen to grab the food. You paused. “Wait, do you want it now?’
Ushi responded, “Thank you, dear. I will shower first and then enjoy the food.”
You nodded and turned the stove back on to reheat the sauce before plating some plain rice onto a dish. Humming happily, you washed your hands and checked on the bubbling, savoury sauce. It seemed to tempt and taunt you with its beautiful brown color, chunks of beef, and incredible smell, making your mouth water.
NO! I can’t eat it. I can’t. Nothing can jeopardize my chances at the Ms. Olympia competition.
You swallowed your saliva and set the lid back on the pot. To distract yourself, you sat on the couch and decided to just answer some emails and talk to your manager, which you had been putting off since the morning, telling yourself that your workout and telling Tendou about the competition came first.
After a while, you heard your boyfriend exit the bathroom as he plodded toward the bedroom to get dressed.
“Ushi! I’ll leave the food on the table! I’m going to the store to buy more eggs and other groceries!” You called out across the house as you got up to pour the sauce on the rice and leave.
However, you underestimated Ushi’s ability to walk across the house like a freaking ninja because he suddenly appeared right behind you as you set the plate down on the table.
“Oh my fucki-! Oh, it’s you. Babe, never scare me like that again!” You yelped, feeling your heart leap out of your chest.
He simply nodded. “I apologise. I will accompany you to the supermarket and eat later.”
You laughed, “Okay, thanks babe.”
You two enjoyed the breeze of the outdoors as you strolled past the many apartments and houses, taking in the pretty scenery. Ushijima held your hand, consciously matching his pace with you.
After grabbing all the necessary items and checking out, you grabbed the grocery bags effortlessly and exited the store to find a slightly frowning Ushijima trailing behind you. He wasn’t normal-frowning in the way where he was thinking and simply existing; no, this was an actual frown of pettiness.
“What is it?” You teased, already knowing what he was thinking.
“Please hand me the bags,” He said, already proceeding to grab the bags from you.
Raising a brow, you handed him all four of the grocery bags, which he held just as effortlessly as you.
“Why? Is it ‘cause I’m weak?” You joked, which made Ushijima’s frown deepen.
“No, of course not. Not only are you mentally capable, your physical strength is very commendable.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his usual dry yet adorable response.
“Then let me carry you.” You said.
“I-”
You already had crouched down to give your boyfriend and piggyback ride. Turning your head back at him, you smiled. “Pleeeeeeeeeeease?”
“This is indecent,” He muttered as he got on you and let you hook your arms around his legs and lifted him.
“Oof, it’s okay. I got this,” You hyped yourself up, ignoring the stares of other pedestrians.
“Babe, how heavy were you again?” You asked, readjusting his weight yet again.
“I was 90.6 kilograms this morning,” He responded, and you nodded.
“Don’t worry babe, even if you get so much muscle that you’re double your weight now, I’ll also grow so much so that I can carry my little princess.”
a/n: well shit 🥲how tf do i end this crappy fic. Sorry about the late wait also :(

20 but Married!? (Young Husband!Ushijima Wakatoshi x Young Wife!Reader)
a/n: HII MY FORBIDDEN LOVER HOW ARE U?? Tysm for the req, and I would love to do an Ushijima fic. I AM SO SO SO SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPLOAD.
This fic is about yn and ushi who got married really young and are in college now.
Idk why tf i had this idea but oh well, enjoy <3
“Middle school relationships don’t last.”
“Oh, well, it’ll end in high school”
“It’s not going to last until college”
“Marriage? That’s not happening. You two dated in Middle School?”
You and your boyfriend had heard it all. From the gossipy aunties to the bitch ass students in your high school- everybody seemed to have a negative opinion about your relationship. Specifically, they always said that it would never last.
Not with that mindset, you thought, smiling involuntarily at the thought of your wonderful boyfriend- no, fiance.
Everybody had crashed the fuck out when you two had told them that you were engaged.
“YOU JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL! YOU’RE YOUNG AND BLINDED. 19 is too young.”
“Don’t worry. We’re going to college together, and we’re never going to be apart.”
Divider
You were in psych class, half- fiddling with your necklace, half- taking notes on whatever the professor was saying. Wakatoshi was beside you, carefully writing down the important points that your professor had on the projector.
How did I bag this fine ass ma-
“Ushijima-san! Please answer this question!” The professor suddenly called out, and your husband looked up at the same time that you did.
The class turned their eyes toward you.
Shit. You’d purposely only shared your first name during introductions at the start of the school year to avoid confusion since you shared Wakatoshi’s sur-name.
You dropped your head, pretending like you had just looked up to look at the projector for notes while he responded to the professor’s question about family dynamics. Scribbling on your paper, you glanced over at Wakatoshi’s pristine notes, and he carefully pushed his notebook in an angle so that you could read them better.
“Y/N- san, why don’t you answer this question,” the professor said. “Regarding Dr. John Gottman’s study on the Four Horsemen (a/n: the four horsemen refers to the destructive communication variations that happen in relationships: criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling), which do you believe is the most destructive in a marriage?”
You cringed, thinking quickly about your own relationship. Wakatoshi and you never really had communication issues, but you tried to dig up conflicts that had happened in the past.
Think think think
Wakatoshi looked at you with gentleness and expectancy, waiting for your answer alongside your professor, who raised her brow as you took your long, sweet time thinking.
“I, uh, believe that contempt would be a large issue in marriages. Um, because it can bleed into the other three communication variations as well. I would hate it if my partner treated me with disrespect, sarcasm, or mockery.”
The professor slowly nodded, taking off her glasses and leaning on her desk and asked again, “And how is contempt more of an issue than the others?”
You gulped, brain blanking.
“Uh, well, between my husband and me, we’re usually pretty straightforward with each other. Contempt seems to be rooted in pride and avoidant…”
You stopped, realising that everyone was gaping at you, including the professor, who had stopped wiping her glasses with a tissue.
“I’m sorry, you meant a hypothetical husband? Or your boyfriend?” The professor clarified, glancing at Wakatoshi, who was also looking at you.
Shiiiiiiiiit. You realised. The fuck do I say?
Wakatoshi reached under the table and squeezed your hand, which surprised you, but you smiled and answered (more) confidently nonetheless.
“No, I mean, my husband. We’re, uh, married.” You tugged at your necklace that was tucked under your shirt. “You see? Our ring…”
Now everybody was either staring slack-jawed or internally screaming at this revelation. The professor seemed shocked, amused, and unsurprised all the same. “I must say, I would be shocked, but you two are glued to each other, so it does make sense.” She said, breaking the awkward silence.
That made everybody start yelling and shouting questions at the same time.
“When did you get married?” “When did he propose?” “Who proposed?” “What the fuck, I thought y’all were dating.” “I WANT A WIFFFFFFFE!”
“QUIET CLASS!” Your professor thundered, and the students started settling down.
You squeezed Ushi’s hand, just now realising that he had also untucked his ring-necklace. Thankfully, he chose to answer the questions for you two.
“We got married in the winter when we finished high school because we had been dating since junior high. It made sense- we were in love and wanted to make that final step. We were financially in a good spot and were enrolled to go to the same university. We made a promise to marry in our last year of high school.”
Absolute chaos.
Students were bouncing off the walls, some screaming, some sobbing, some laughing.
You smiled, realising that your subconscious worry of judgement from others had dissipated a little. All throughout your relationship, people always had something to say, and it had made you used to the anxiety of criticism from others, but seeing your uni classmates and even professor just laugh and be amusingly shocked made you feel much more light-hearted.
Word got around fast because after only a day, people that you barely recognised were teasing you and Wakatoshi in the hallways, and even other professors made small jabs and jokes at you and your husband, which was kind of funny as Wakatoshi, with his stoic and literal personality, thought they were just trying to congratulate you two on your marriage, which made him confused as you were already nearing your second anniversary already.
As you two went back to your apartment after classes, you suddenly wrapped your arms around his bicep, leaning your head on his shoulder.
He didn’t react, but he did say, “I’m glad that you don’t see much contempt in our marriage.”
You laughed loudly, startled by the random yet endearing comment.
“Me too Toshi. Me too.”
a/n: Look, im sorry its short and crappy even after i made you wait so much

Hey there, Delilah, what's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away, but girl, tonight, you look so pretty
Yes, you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true
Kuroo Tetsuro
Oh, definitely texts you all the time to check in on you and ask how you’re doing.
This man would probably be looking at plane/train tickets all the time online to make sure to buy the best deals as quickly as possible for during breaks/ vacations to go see you or for you to see him.
Calls you everyday (multiple times) for hours to yap and decompress- he doesn’t strike me as the videocall type though, just normal call.
Bro, he sends more packages to your house then you do for yourself
Sends cute gifts he saw online like trinkets and merch of characters you like or food deliveries of your favourites mixed with some healthy options to take care of you.
Loves it when you whine about how much you miss him and want to see him on call. This nerd has the audacity to act cool and tough so that you seem like the needier one lmao.
“Babe, what the fuck is this?” You gasped, opening your front door and finding a very abnormally large package plopped on the welcome mat.
It was 8:24 in the evening, and you were in your crusty PJs, on call with your beloved long-distance boyfriend, Tetsuro, and he had sent you yet another package.
You heard a soft, warm chuckle on the other side of the line. “A gift for you. I mean, it’s finals week, and I wanted to do something special for you.”
Your heart melted as you inched closer to the package, still a little suspicious but your smile widening as you didn’t even try to pull that heavy thing inside. Instead, you untied the glossy red ribbon off the box and began to tear the top apart, Kuroo’s breathing echoing through the night as he stayed on call with you.
The moment you fully opened the box, a fucking, I don’t know, thing, popped out, causing you two scream bloody fucking murder as you realised it was freaking Kuroo Tetsuro.
Honestly, you didn’t even care that you had dropped your phone; you just crushed him and his smirk into a bear hug, eyes misting and heart bursting as you finally embraced your boyfriend after 6 months.
Hey there, Delilah, don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely, give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Suna Rintarou
Little, emo, nonchalant prick
Probably waits for you to call first because (just like Kuroo) he enjoys you being huffy and puffy about being away from him. Has a little bit of an ego, and he wants you to initiate the texts and calls.
One time, you decided to be nonchalant too, and he broke under pressure after like half a day and sent you an onslaught of text messages and heart emojis.
Will text you a lot of random ass photos- a cat licking its paws on the street, the Miya twins fighting, or even just a blurry selfie of himself (which you freaking love)
You two are constantly on facetime, like deadass. There could be no talking, no actions, nothing, and y’all still insist on being videocall all the time for hours just to feel each others’ presence.
Sends the most out of pocket things with absolutely no context, and it makes you screech, blush, and laugh all at the same time.
gng wanna ft d8 l8r?
Message from Rin Rin Your Mom’s Callin
The notification on your phone popped up as you made your way across a dark parking lot.
R u using all that time you save by not fully typing out words to save the wrld or sm? You texted back, holding in a laugh.
wtv dont call me then >o> TT
You smiled at his cute texting habits, before calling him, carefully popping in your earbuds as you strolled across the parking lot, clutching your drink with the other hand. You heard a small beep as Rintarou picked up the call.
“Hey babe,” You greeted, now walking across a sidewalk. “What’s up?”
“The ceiling. But you know what’s down?” He chuckled.
“What?” You asked, quirking your brow.
“Your pants.”
“Yeah, you would like that, wouldn’t you?”
…
“I mean, I miss you, but damn Rin. Chill out. I’m in public right now,” You laughed, basically feeling Rintarou’s temperature shoot up through the phone.
“W-well, I-I-I’m breaking with you.” He sputtered, trying to remain nonchalant.
“Sure, babe, sure. I love you too.”
Hey there, Delilah, I know times are getting hard
But just believe me, girl, someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good
Miya Osamu
You two have a tradition of sending each other recipes and food reels on Instagram, and y’all always save cute cafes and restaurants to go to when you two meet up.
Then again, Osamu’s entire personality doesn’t revolve around food alone (or maybe-?)
Likes falling asleep on call with you, except Atsumu’s always sticking his ass up y’all’s beeswax.
It’s always, “OMG HI Y/N!” “How you doin’, Y/N?” “When are ‘ya going ‘ta get tired of my stupid twin, Y/N?”
So then, you two have to pause your online date as Osamu tackles his brother in their shared room while you laugh, half concerned and half amused.
You two share matching keychains that are foods that you like with a picture of each other in your wallets, of course.
If anybody ever asks about the keychain, Osamu goes all starry eyed and yaps his ass of about you and how much he loves you, and so do you <3
He likes sharing about his volleyball games with you, sharing clips of his performance and different techniques he’s learning, and you’re always his number one fan!!!
Okay, this is it, Osamu. This volleyball game decides whether we qualify or not. I mean, we’re gonna’ win, anyway. We will. Wewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewillwewill-
“Hey idiot, the game’s startin’. Ready?” Atsumu rudely interrupted his thoughts, the golden haired boy so confident and passionate as always.
“Yeah, of course. What about ‘ya? I bet you ain’t ready.”
As the twins bickered as usual, the coach sighed and shooed them onto the court as the audience screamed and cheered. The beat of the drums filled Osamu’s ears as he took his place on the court and got ready for the first play.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
For some reason, Osamu felt nervous. Like, more so than usual.
The drums matched his now pounding heart as he clenched his fists and took a deep breath.
I got this. I ain’t losin’. Atsumu’s gonna’ kill me if I make a mist-
“LET’S GO INARIZAKI! LET’S GO OSAMU!”
The silver haired boy whipped his head around to find himself looking straight at you, his girlfriend. His beloved beloved girlfriend.
You smiled even wider and waved at him profusely, even blowing him a kiss. And just like that, his confidence and focus came back as he readied himself for the first serve.
After the end of the game, you rushed down the stadium, jumping into Osamu’s sweaty arms as you kissed his cheek. “YOU DID IT!” You screamed, so proud of the win.
“Who’s gonna’ tell her that we did it?” Atsumu whispered to Kita, and Suna elbowed Atsumu, who shut up after that.
“Babe, you came? Thank you, oh my goodness. How? Why? Huh?” Osamu malfunctioned as he looked at you with a wide grin.
“Of course I came. I’ll always support you.”
Hey there, Delilah, I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all
Sugawara Koshi
Wears a matching bracelet with you, and he always fidgets with it when he’s in class or when he’s nervous. He always treasures it and keeps it safe during volleyball games or practices.
Doesn’t hide his smile when he gets a text from you, and he gets teased by his team-mates
The younger ones are always wondering how their senpai has so much rizz
Probably the most “home-sick” out of all the boys because according to him: “Home is where the heart is, and my heart is with you.”
Like legit has days when he cannot function without hugging you, and it pains y’all so much
He always begs his parents to go to wherever you are during holidays, breaks, or even weekends when he’s desperate.
Genuinely just stares at photos of you throughout the day (little does he know you do the same thing cus hes so pretty and cute).
Apparently he’s a mom of like a bunch of high school volleyball boys so you’re their… dad(?) now to them?
“Koshi, I have class now. I have to go. I’m sorry babe.” You said over the phone as you entered your new school building.
“But do you have to go? I want to stay on call with you just while you go around your new school.” He pleaded on the other side.
“Yes, baby. I have to go. I don’t want to be known as a phone addicted kid on the first day at a new school.” You laughed. “And you have to get back to morning practice before Sawamura-kun kills you.”
“Speaking of which,” Another voice boomed across the phone.
Koshi yelped as he realised that his captain was behind him, raising a brow and almost popping a volleyball. “Suga, get back to practice, now. Also, hi Y/N!”
You laughed loudly, startling a few students around you as you listened to your boyfriend’s shenanigans. “Yeah, drag him back, Sawamura-kun,” You spoke over the phone as you heard Koshi groan and give up.
“Noooooo, my heart’s going to rip. Whyyy Y/N? Whyyyy captain?” Koshi groaned, dramatically saying goodbye.
Daichi muttered something about unruly “kids” as you walked around. “Bye, Y/N. You can call Suga later.”
“Okay, bye Koshi! Bye Sawamura!” You chirped, clicking off your phone.
You walked a couple more steps before looking up at a sign in front of you-

“Ah, so this is where my cute little boyfriend is,” You laughed as you stepped in.

Lovers Chronicles (Toxic!Suna Rintarou x Toxic!Reader)
a/n: This fic is HEAVILY inspired by Fairest, a midquel/ novella by Marissa Meyers from the Lunar Chronicles series with twists I added. The bolded lines are direct quotes from the book. A lot of the scenes and references are from the book, and I highly recommend you read the Lunar Chronicles Series :)
IT IS LIKE FULL ON ANGSTTT. I hate feeling the pain of reading angst but writing it is so fun 😈.
T/W: Swearing;
Please be warned that I AM NOT AN EXPERT on mental disorders (such as the attachment and avoidant issues that are in this fic), and I am in no way trying to stereotype or slander people with these issues (If you do have any of these, I hope you are able to get the help you need and get better);
Brief mentions of death/ car crash;
Mentions of underage drinking;
Ever so slight mentions of suggestive topics for like 2 sec;
Sorry for the long a/n. Happy reading <3
Magic Mirror on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Once upon a time, a girl with attachment issues and a boy with avoidant issues fell in love.
Once upon a time, their love was their only joy.
Because once upon a time, they were young. And naive. And believed in forever. And they believed in each other.
But happily ever afters are only for princesses and princes. Only forever until the last word, the last sentence, and only until the storybook closes.
You and Suna Rintarou met in high school when you were both in the second year. Both 16 years old and battling through your issues at home.
You fell first- of course you did. You were the one with attachment problems, you were the one that clung to every person, every relationship, and every interaction like it was your lifeblood; your worth depended on other people, and you valued Suna Rintarou’s opinions very much.
Suna Rintarou on the other hand, was the resident emo guy- the cute but expressionless middle blocker. He caged himself away from deep friendships or attachment, preferring to be alone and take pictures on his phone.
Once upon a time, Suna felt bad for you when he, after volleyball practice, found you crying after a girl told you that you needed to find your own life and personality outside your friendship. He felt a twinge of sympathy at the sobbing girl in front of him, so he silently handed you an orange drink before jogging off.
True love, you thought. A tall, handsome boy that was considerate? It must be love at first sight. Because why else would someone you had never spoken to take care of you? Your parents sure didn’t.
And so you stopped by his desk the next day, setting down the same type of orange drink for him after class and a sticky-note with a smiley face. You blushed as you skipped away, heart beating fast at how giddy you felt.
Suna had just raised a brow when he saw you leaving, and he checked what you put on his desk- the orange juice.
From then on, like clockwork, you always settled a snack, drink, or cold towel on Suna’s desk or bag after class or practice everyday. And everyday, you waited for him to talk to you or approach you. I mean, he ate and drank the food you left and used the towels you lent him. He always washed, dried, and left the folded towels at your desk the next day.
This had to be a romantic connection. Right?
In your head, you always had to be doing the best for him; you always wore your prettiest, newest clothes, and did your makeup on school days, and whenever he needed help with schoolwork or anything else, you jumped in, volunteering to tutor him or assist him or help him in any way you could.
Once upon a time, at your parent’s funeral after their car crash, Suna Rintarou left the largest bouquet and had awkwardly given you a hug, distracting you from the day of mourning entirely.
Admittedly, you weren’t even sad. It was the disgusting truth, and you knew many people would hate you for that if they knew, and you honestly wish that it wasn’t the truth. But when you spend years with parents who were constantly drunk, angry, and abusive, trying to win over their love and attention fades into numbness. So you sought out validation from others. Like Suna.
Throughout the funeral, you pretended to cry when others did, you pretended to mourn when others mourned, and you pretended to be severely distressed when Suna was close by.
It was terrible. But so what?
It didn’t matter.
Not when no one had to know that you were pretending.
Not when Suna walked you home that evening, clutching your bag with one earphone in his left ear, the other in your right one. When you arrived at your house, he handed you your bag as you expectantly looked up at him. Hoping. Wishing. Praying that he would embrace you. Kiss you. Confess his love for y-
“I know you must be hurting now, but don't give up hope on future happiness, and all the good things that are still to come for you.” Suna said, a little stilted, definitely scripted, but it still warmed your heart to the brim.
“Thank you…” You whispered as you reluctantly shut the door. Running to the window, you watched Suna leave. He turned around and nodded at you- a… salute that could have meant nothing.
Or could have meant everything.
Even as he disappeared into the night, you stared out the glass, then [you]... cradled [your hands] against [your] chest, smiling, while [you echoed Suna’s] words again and again.
Interpreting. Dissecting. Again and again and again.
Once upon a time, you had just finished extra tutoring classes to help you get ahead and help Suna on his work when you overheard the volleyball boys around the corner.
“She’s fuckin’ in love with ‘ya!” Atsumu exclaimed, as you realised that the twins and Suna were eating pork buns and talking about you. You hid, eavesdropping on their conversation, wanting to know what Suna would say.
Osamu chuckled. “Yeah, man. L/N-chan always hangs around ‘ya and always asks us about ‘ya. She’s quite pretty, actually. And sweet. Do you like her?”
Suna just hummed in response, not necessarily confirming or denying anything, making you a little disappointed.
“Wait,” Atsumu said, “Didn’t ‘ya go to the Winter Solstice Fair with Risa?” Suna nodded, not looking up from his phone.
What? Your heart dropped. No, no, no. He was supposed to love you…
Atsumu and Osamu kept gossiping, ignoring the fact that Suna was barely present in the conversation. You just pressed yourself against the wall and slid down disappointedly.
“She is kinda cute…” Suna mumbled. “WHAT?” Atsumu exclaimed. “Which one!?”
Yeah, which one, Suna Rintarou?
“L/N-chan…”
You stood up suddenly in excitement, suddenly happy again, but oops, you accidentally lost your balance and dropped your books, making a loud sound.
Atsumu turned. “What the-?”
Fuck.
You quickly picked them up, trying to leave as fast as you could, but the boys immediately found you, hastily grabbing your folders and books off the ground.
“Oh, hey… guys. I was just going home after tutoring. What’s up?” You said, trying not to be weird.
The twins shared a look, but they didn’t say anything and just helped you pick up everything while Suna hung around in the back, staring at you with his mouth closed, almost clenched.
I wonder what he’s thinking…
And from then on, you hated the winter solstice.
And once upon a time, you were at a party, dancing drunkenly as everybody played a game together in the living room.
It was 1:47 AM, and your house was a complete mess, but it wasn’t like you had parents or anything, so what did it matter?
Multi-coloured lights softly danced across the room, and alcohol bottles littered the floor as the smell fogged up the entire house.
“Y/N! You have to do seven minutes in heaven with Rintarou! Go, go, go!”
And you two were shoved into an empty closet, breath smelling like soju and brains barely functioning. Giggling, you sat down and so did Suna, who looked sleepy and tipsy.
“We don’t have to make out," You whispered to the boy across from you, legs squished together. Suna nodded, eyes half closed.
Out of nowhere at the 3 minute mark, he suddenly grabbed your hand, and you jostled. “M sorry for being cold t-to you,” Suna murmured drunkenly into the darkness of the closet. You hiccuped in surprise. “S’ok,” you replied, equally as intoxicated, “I-I just really like you, you know?”
Suna finally looked up at you. “I know…You’re pretty. M-maybe I like you too?”
A rush of warmth spread across your body like fire. Nothing [you] wanted had ever come that easily.
They say that drunk words are sober thoughts, right?
That day, you two kissed for the first time.
We’ll live perfectly. Forever.
Three years later…
“N-no, Rintarou, I’m sorry. It’s my fault.” You cried as he grabbed his things, stomping around the apartment.
“NO Y/N! Can’t you see? The problem is that it isn’t your fault. It’s mine!” Rintarou yelled at you, anger and pain blazing in his eyes.
That made you freeze as you clutched your cardigan tighter, your hands gripping your arms, leaving half-moon prints with your nails.
It was yet another stupid fight. Another stupid argument borne out of nowhere. And yet, you always knew when it was coming, always sensed when the tension boiled over. But you did nothing because it felt easier. Better. Better than confrontation
“Wait! Please… I’m so-”, You winced. “Don’t go, Rintarou. Please.” Your eyes filled with tears as you stood up and tried to block the door. “Please, sit with me. Talk to me,” You begged.
You hate that you begged.
[Rintarou] did not come closer. Did not sit down.
“Please… you told me you loved me that night. We kissed.”
“Y/N, I was drunk and hurting. And so were you. The fantasies you made in your head are fake.”
“B-but, you walked me home after the funeral. A-and said those kind words. You always ate the snacks I left you. You said I was cute that day with the twins. You took care of me when I was crying. You bought me that orange drink-”
“OH MY GOD, Y/N!” He thundered. “I was showing you basic human decency. Finding someone cute or handing them a juice when they’re sad doesn’t mean I’m fucking in love with them. And oh, my parents made me console you and walk you home at your parent’s funeral. I was trying to be nice.”
“I should’ve left a long time ago, Y/N. I wanted to. But I was too lazy. Too tired. I felt like I was shackled everyday. Like I was manipulated to stay even though I didn’t want to. Or maybe I did. We’ll never know now- what could have happened if we did this correctly.”
Each [word] was a needle in [your] heart, undoing [you].
“I’m done, Y/N. I’ve been done for a long time. Our fights feel like wars. Just constant battles.”
-I know you must be hurting now-
“Just do what’s best for everyone and never contact me again. Please.” And this time, Suna was begging, eyes shining and soul evidently tired.
-But don't give up hope on future happiness-
You crumpled onto the floor as he grabbed his keys from the kitchen counter, not even sparing a pained glance at you.
-And all the good things that are still to come for you-
The door clicked as Suna Rintarou, the boy with avoidant issues left L/N Y/N, the girl with attachment issues, who cried, and cried, and cried.
Love is a conquest. Love is a war.
Here is what I think of love.
a/n: This was supposed to be a short fic/drabble but it highk turned out waaaaay longer than I intended, and it took so long to get to the plot. Woops. Welp, hope you enjoyed the pain <3333
Streamer!Suna Rintarou x influencer! reader
Suna Rintarou doesn’t really follow the wave of starting a streaming career. Sure, he likes the idea and knows he’s pretty good at gaming, but it feels like too much of a hassle, he really can’t be bothered to buy all the equipment and set everything up.
Suna Rintarou was originally in charge of filming for his friend,he knew exactly how to get the right angles and capture the perfect moments.
Suna Rintarou ends up having his “face reveal” (when really, it only happens because Atsumu somehow messes up the camera), and suddenly everyone and their mother have seen his face. It blows up, like a lot. Meanwhile, Atsumu is complaining about people liking his cameraman more than him.
Suna Rintarou now has to deal with people recognizing him in the streets, telling him they saw him on Atsumu’s stream. He didn’t realize his friend was that big of a deal or had that many viewers.
Suna Rintarou finds himself frequently appearing now in Atsumu’s streams, either playing whatever game the blonde just bought or participating in random challenges, until the blonde suggests he starts his own instead
And that’s the start of the Streamer!Suna Rintarou era.
Streamer!Suna Rintarou doesn’t do anything extreme, just casual gaming at home or chill streaming sessions.
Streamer!Suna Rintarou builds a massive following, not just because he’s handsome, but because he’s genuinely funny and.. streams all night instead of sleeping.
Streamer!Suna Rintarou now has to deal with people shipping him with every friend he has (he especially hates being shipped with Atsumu).
Streamer!Suna Rintarou gets confused when people keep spamming a certain name in his livestream chat.
Streamer!Suna Rintarou later finds out, while scrolling through Twitter, that an influencer, a pretty one at that, talked about him. He’s even more curious when he realizes her name is the same one everyone’s been spamming in his chat. What did she say?
“Hmmm, celebrity crush? Definitely Rin, the streamer. I don’t know if he’s really a celebrity, but I consider him one.”

the air was getting a bit colder than usual when shinatsu stepped out of the subway station. it was sunday morning and the sun was already hiding behind grey clouds in the sky. she tightened her coat as she walked down the crowded road. compared to other days, people were walking rather leisurely on the sidewalk, enjoying their weekend.
“natsu-chan!” someone called her from behind cheerily. she definitely knew who it was without even turning her head. the girl caught up to her in a second with her typical wide, bright smile. “saw you at the station but you walked so fast, shinatsu! what’s the hurry? can’t wait to meet akaashi-san, huh?”
yes, they had finally talked about it a few days ago over a video call right after the preliminary. it was more of an interrogation, though. and in this case, she was the one getting interrogated. it started with the question of when her feelings started to bloom, what she liked about him, all the way to what she was going to do with those feelings—mizuki asked most of the questions while haru was listening intently with a not-so-innocent smile, knowing she had done well dropping the news while it was still fresh.
