hey friends! our haikyuu + ultra discord server has been up and running for a week now and we are having a lot of fun. you can still join anytime by going to this link! the server is for discussing and sharing content about haikyuu and other anime, or just stopping by to talk about your day. you have the option to pick a haikyuu team once you join, and we are planning on starting up some (optional) battles among the teams soon! everyone in the server has been really awesome so far and we are always happy to see new people join

HAIKYUU + ULTRA HAS OFFICIALLY RE-OPENED!!

We are excited to announce that HQU will now be accepting members once again! We greatly appreciate all inquiries and patience from anyone that has been waiting for the re-opening of the server. The server had been undergoing some much needed maintenance and we apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused with the closing of the server. 

If you would like to join the server, please fill out this { MEMBER APPLICATION } and staff will review your form and send you an invite link accordingly. The member application will only be asking a few short questions about which characters you like, if you have any special requests, and either a social media platform to reach you at or your discord id if you already have an account.

HAIKYUU + ULTRA PRESENTS: MAFIA, A PARTY GAME We at HQU are excited to announce that due to it’s popularity, we will be hosting another BIG Mafia Game event! Please join us on The Weekend of May 11th for a series of Mafia games (join one or join all, up to you!). { SCHEDULE } Friday, May 11th - 6pm EST  Saturday, May 12th - 2pm EST & 8pm EST 

HQU is also happy to announce that we have revamped our server! To be more inclusive of others and to take into account all our awesome server members’ suggestions and concerns, we have decided to update our Rules, update our FAQ, and have added official Affiliate Servers! We hope that these updates will help us run the server more efficiently and allow our server members enjoy their time in the server to the fullest! HAIKYUU + ULTRA PRESENTS: What’s the Mood? A Guessing Game!

We are excited to announce a new event we will be holding! All teams within the server will be assigned a random haikyuu character by the staff, which they will have to essentially create an aesthetic board for. But here's the catch: teams will have to create an aesthetic board for a character that other teams will have to guess who it's for. 

Teams will have until Sunday, May 20th 2018 to compile 9 submissions for an aesthetic board that relates to their assigned character, but does not give the character away too easily. Starting Monday, May 21st 2018 and onwards, everyday one team's aesthetic board will be posted and all other teams (within their respective team chats) will have 24 hours to guess who the aesthetic board pertains to. Team with the most amount of correct guesses by the end of the week wins! As well, all these lovely creations will be posted on our blog!!

NOW OPEN: THE HAIKYUU + ULTRA DISCORD CHAT!

Hello Everyone!! We are excited to announce that the Haikyuu + Ultra Discord Chat is now live and open to all who are interested! The purpose of this chat is to allow fans of haikyuu (and other anime/manga) to come together and discuss their favourite series via the Discord app!!

COMING SEPTEMBER 17, 2017 - A HAIKYUU TRIVIA GAME!! 

Do you have so much knowledge about haikyuu but nowhere to put it? Have you ever wanted to be a part of the haikyuu teams and play games? Have you watched/read haikyuu so much that you know every phrase and every scene? Say no more, because the Haikyuu + Ultra Discord Server will be hosting The Guessmonster Tournament - a Haikyuu Trivia Game! 

Join your favourite haikyuu team in individual channels where you and your teammates can chat and participate in the Guessmonster Tournament! Teams will engage in rapid trivia matches about haikyuu and will battle to see who will be the National Champions of this server! More details about how the game will be executed will be posted on a closer date.

The Guessmonster Tournament will begin September 17th 2017! Please come and join the server beforehand so you can get to know your teammates and how the server works. Please use this link to join the server and check out our FAQ and Rules prior. (You will need Discord, a free chatting platform in order to join!). 

While the event may not involve an actual volleyball, it'll test your knowledge of the series like no round ball ever could! We look forward to seeing who will win this epic tournament!!

AMV Commissions by Spadestudioamvs

Hello fellow Haikyuu!! fans!  Mod Nika here. One of our HQU members (@spadestudioamvs​) makes AMVs and takes commissions/ideas for future projects! They created a Google doc for everyone who’s interested in requesting an AMV where you guys can add everything relevant for it. Please message them if you added your request in the doc!  Here is the link: Future AMVs  The doc is in table format and has different columns you have to fill out: - Song - Focus - Notes (this column is for Spade) - Priority/Interest (this column is for Spade)  - Requester (Your Discord or Tumblr name or tag)   - Requesting Notes How To Use: ~ If you have an idea go ahead and fill out the boxes on the sheet marked here in purple ~ If you only have a partial idea (like you just wanna see a song but dont care about the focus) just put "dealer's choice" or "doesnt matter" so I know ~ You can add as many ideas as you want ~ If you don’t have any ideas but you want an idea on the list to happen sooner/be notified when it happens, you can put your name under "requester" and fill out "requesting notes" ~ If multiple people want an AMV to happen just include your name! just please indicate if you put anything in "requesting notes" that you put your name in parenthesis so I can keep track of who wanted what ~ If you see something on the list and wanna make your own AMV knock yourself out! (but I'd be hype to see what you do) Additional: (by Mod Nika) - Please be nice and don’t edit other people’s requests! - Be nice to Spade who tries their hardest to make your AMV dreams come true. They put a lot of effort in that, I can tell you. - Don’t be rude in general to each other! Everyone likes different ships/characters/music. - DO NOT use any Discord name/tag or tumblr name without the consent of the person behind it! A.k.a don’t go and message or add people if they don’t want to get added! Please respect each other’s personal space even on the internet.
