With spring rapidly approaching, we would like to present our next asoiafrarepairs event, a spring-themed rarepairs week!

This is another week long event for rare pairs* in the ASOIAF/GOT fandom, it will take place from March 15-21. The theme is A Dream of Spring, with each day having two prompts. You can use one or both of the prompts to create any kind of fanwork you want; fics, drabbles, gifsets, edits, fanart, videos, let your creative impulses go wild!

COMING SEPTEMBER 17, 2017 - A HAIKYUU TRIVIA GAME!! 

Do you have so much knowledge about haikyuu but nowhere to put it? Have you ever wanted to be a part of the haikyuu teams and play games? Have you watched/read haikyuu so much that you know every phrase and every scene? Say no more, because the Haikyuu + Ultra Discord Server will be hosting The Guessmonster Tournament - a Haikyuu Trivia Game! 

Join your favourite haikyuu team in individual channels where you and your teammates can chat and participate in the Guessmonster Tournament! Teams will engage in rapid trivia matches about haikyuu and will battle to see who will be the National Champions of this server! More details about how the game will be executed will be posted on a closer date.

The Guessmonster Tournament will begin September 17th 2017! Please come and join the server beforehand so you can get to know your teammates and how the server works. Please use this link to join the server and check out our FAQ and Rules prior. (You will need Discord, a free chatting platform in order to join!). 

While the event may not involve an actual volleyball, it'll test your knowledge of the series like no round ball ever could! We look forward to seeing who will win this epic tournament!!

All fanworks will be accepted and reblogged as long as it fits at least one prompt that’s been submitted

No need to claim which prompt(s) you’ll be using in advance

We’ve all seen fandom events for popular ships, but what about all those amazing pairings that for some reason tend to get overlooked in the fandom? There are some ships we absolutely love and the lack of content for them can be frustrating.

So we decided to try and fix that! This is a weeklong event specifically for rarepairs* in the ASOIAF/GOT fandom. It will run from June 24 - 30. To help inspire you, we’ve come up with two prompts for each day; a trope prompt and a dialogue prompt. You can use either the trope or the dialogue to create any kind of fanwork you want; fics, gifsets, edits, fanart, anything. Feel free to to use both prompts if you like, but only one is necessary.

secret santa PSA

Hey guys! We at @asoiafrarepairs​ and @tinfoil-throne​ are working hard on planning the secret santa event! As our two blogs have differing guidelines, though, we just wanted to clarify a few things--asoiafrarepairs will be accepting ships that have fewer than 800 fics on AO3 instead of 500, but only for the content of this event. Barring the bend on the 500 fics rule, the rest of our guidelines still stand. Additionally, we at asoiafrarepairs will not be reblogging sexually explicit or graphic works of art--NSFW fic is fine, as long as the explicit part is under a cut, but as per our guidelines, we do not reblog explicit NSFW art or graphic imagery. We also will not be reblogging works with non-romantic pairings, since this blog is about romantic ships. However, worry not! @tinfoil-throne​, our partner in this event, will be reblogging all the entries for the secret santa event!
