Harvest Fest went pretty well and Kaitlyn’s sister decided to bring the family dog, Piccolo with her 😊😄

Firework day (which was yesterday in my game) went really well, Maya and Kaitlyn had a blast and I think everyone except for Yaritza completed their traditions and had a good time 

I feel like holidays and planned events really do improve the game and make it more fun to be honest 😊😄

Since they missed Snow Day this winter 😕, the Feldmans headed over to Kaitlyn’s family home and just spent time with them. Kaitlyn, Luna, Maya, Abby and Yaritza opened their presents with Kaitlyn’s mom, dad and sister instead so at least they got in on some holiday spirit. 😊 Also Luna gave her grandpa Paolo some spring seeds for his garden and she gave her grandma Ava a tulip she somehow had in her inventory that she picked from her mom’s garden at home 😊😍 and I think she gave her aunt Hailey a boom box stereo 😄

Paolo: You know, Kaitlyn and Hailey, before your nonna, nonno and I came to Windenburg when I was 12, we used to live in Monte Vista 

Hailey: Oh yeah, I remember you telling us before dad, but go on

Paolo: (smiling) But did I tell you how your nonna ended up owning her own pasticerria(bakery)?

Kaitlyn: No, you never told us that (raises her brows)

Paolo: Well, it was just after her parents passed away, your nonna was 18 and she got a job at the local pasticerria to support herself. She would work there and saved some of her money because she’d always wanted to own her own pasticerria one day. And she had almost saved up enough when burglars broke into her flat and stole the money she had saved up. (Kaitlyn covers her mouth with her hands in shock) 

Kaitlyn: Oh my god

Paolo: So your nonna was obviously very heart broken but she continued to work at the pasticerria and not give up on her dreams. Eventually, she had become well known for her pastries, especially her sfogliatella and biscotti. And boss, Giacomo, gave her a raise and she used that money to open Dolci Lombardi where she met your nonno, who would always use the excuse of buying pastries to see her. They got married and had me and the rest is history 

Hailey: I had no idea nonna owned her own bakery, that’s so sweet 

Paolo: (smiling) Yeah, your nonna loved baking, and she taught me how to cook and bake too. (Semi-joking) How do you think I got your mom to fall in love with me? 

Kaitlyn: (Also joking around) So that explains why your cooking is so good dad 

Hailey and Kaitlyn continue to joke around and talk to Paolo

Kaitlyn, along with Maya, Luna and her sister Hailey, headed back to Selvadorada cause it’s so picturesque and it’s genuinely fun to go there (for them and me as well 😍) 😄😊

Luna: (telling an outrageous story to Kaitlyn, Hailey and Maya) ...Then Evangeline and I rescued the baby squirrel from the raccoon and gave it to our teacher to take care of and she said we could check up on it when we get back from vacation!

Hailey: ... (jokingly) and this all happened during recess? That never happened in my elementary school. And who’s Evangeline?

Luna: (grinning) Of course it happened, aunt Hailey 

Kaitlyn: (to Hailey) Evangeline is Luna’s crush, she’s Miko and Salim’s daughter 

Luna: (embarrassed) mom! Evangeline and I are just friends 

Maya: Don’t worry Luna, we all had crushes as kids. Just focus on being a kid right now. Soon enough you’ll be a teen and have to deal with teen stuff. (Looking lovingly at Kaitlyn) I just hope you won’t be like your mom and sneak out at night like she used to 

Hailey: Yeah, I could tell you tons of stories about Kaitlyn from when she was a teen. (to Luna) Like how we went to the zoo once and your mom dropped her phone right into the llama pen and the llama (laughing) pooped right on the screen before she or the zookeeper could grab it! (everyone laughs, even Kaitlyn)
