Alhaitham's field trip days mean no more kissing Lumine at the back of the Akademiya after office hours. Instead, he gets to kiss her in new places and at any time—like inside one of Shapur Hotel's rooms on a fine morning, for example.

It’s another cozy morning at Alhaitham's place. Lumine, just woken up from her sleepover, is in the bathroom trying to freshen up. Alhaitham is still peacefully asleep in their shared bed. She brushes her teeth with the toothbrush she specifically bought to leave at his place, matching his in color. Her eyes wander around the room, taking in the familiar details of his bathroom, until they settle on a familiar tube.
Finishing her routine, she cleans up and reaches for the tube, turning it over in her hand. "Isn’t this the serum I’ve been using?" she mutters to herself. "Since when did he start using skincare? He only does it when I’m around—and this one’s new." The tube is still sealed.
Lost in her thoughts, Lumine doesn’t notice Alhaitham entering the bathroom. “Morning,” he says softly.Startled, she looks up and smiles. “Morning. Did you sleep well?”
“Mmm, yeah,” he replies, leaning in to kiss her cheek. His eyes catch sight of the tube in her hand. “Oh, you found it.”
“What?” Lumine asks, confused.
“The serum,” Alhaitham says casually.
“Right. Since when do you use skincare?” she questions, eyebrow raised.
“I don’t,” he responds with a small smile.
“You don’t? Then why did you buy it?” she presses, puzzled.
“It’s for you,” he explains gently.
“For me?” she repeats, surprise and confusion mingling on her face.
“Yeah, it’s for you. Since you’re staying here so often, I didn’t want you to have to keep bringing your stuff back and forth. It’s a hassle. So, I bought this for you. Now you have everything you need here and at your place. No need to pack things.”
Lumine’s heart swells with affection. “That’s so thoughtful, thank you,” she whispers, leaning in for another kiss.
Feeling playful, Lumine grins mischievously. “You know, since you went through all this trouble, I think it’s only fair you get to experience it too,” she teases, holding up the serum.Alhaitham raises an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Oh really? And how do you propose we do that?”
“Simple,” she replies, squeezing a bit of the serum onto her fingers. “We’re having a skincare session, right now.”
Before he can protest, she dabs the serum onto his cheeks, giggling as he tries to dodge her playful attack. “Lumine, what are you—” he starts, but laughter interrupts his mock-serious tone.
“Hold still!” she commands with a laugh, managing to spread the serum across his face. “There, now you’re glowing.”
He chuckles, pulling her into his arms. “You’re impossible,” he murmurs affectionately.
“And you love it,” she retorts, snuggling closer.
“Yeah, I do,” he admits, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead.
“Well, Mr. Glow,” Lumine teases, “now you’ll have to pamper me back.”
“Oh, will I?” he says, eyes twinkling. “Challenge accepted.”
With a playful smile, Alhaitham gently takes the serum from her hand and squeezes a little onto his fingers. “Your turn,” he says, softly applying the serum to her cheeks with delicate strokes. Lumine giggles, closing her eyes and enjoying his gentle touch.
“There,” he says, finishing with a light kiss on her nose. “Now you’re glowing too.”
They both laugh softly, basking in the warmth of the moment. Alhaitham wraps his arms around Lumine, pulling her closer. “You know, having you here makes every morning perfect,” he whispers.
Lumine beams, her heart full. “I feel the same way,” she replies, nuzzling into his chest. “I could get used to this.”
“Good,” he says, resting his chin on her head. “Because I plan on having you here for a long, long time.”
Wrapped in each other’s arms, they stay there for a while, enjoying the peaceful morning, knowing they’ll always have each other to come home to.
