For the sparklez fam superhero au, it’s be hilarious if phil was oblivious/didn’t realize that Jordan despises him and he sees his neighbor who is also a single dad real upset about the state of his lawn and tries to befriend him over fixing/improving the lawn and like tries to share lawn care tips with him all the while jordan just calmly plots out Phil’s murder
you see. i did consider making phil like, a fellow older character for jordan to relate and talk with. HOWEVER i then remembered that phil is an absolute menace and would 100% purposefully be fucking with jordan’s lawn while trying to pretend he has nothing to do with it. considering everyone in town can’t connect the dots between their identities it’s unsurprising they can’t realize phil is only faking niceties. the image of phil happily helping jordan do like, weeding, while jordan plans his death in 50 different ways is absolutely hilarious though, thank u
