A routine mission for the Dawn Chorus goes south during the Hero Lyle's era whilst Lyle and the Revenant Hunter are separated, leaving Haithem and Lou to fend for themselves unexpectedly. Fortunately, a red haired Hunter arrives just in time, except he doesn't seem to know much about the world they live in, and, even stranger, he seems to recognize Haithem. What comes is more questions than answers.

I decided to do a character study for my cv2 protagonist as I'm going to be taking him into a dnd campaign, and it evolved into a little crossover between cv1 and cv2. I really doubt I'll continue this, but I figured it had a nice stopping point so I tossed it up onto ao3. Set in the Corroded Scar area, there's some slight spoilers thru the Sunken City.

Drew my new boy, Haithem, cause I'm going to be plopping him into Curse of Strahd soon~ He started off as my Code Vein ii protagonist, but a friend of mine convinced me to do a dnd game and rescue him from cv2.

I started Code Vein II~ I thought about doing one of my cv1 protagonists, Aiden or Drew, but the lore/story is completely different and doesn't connect at all. So, I opted to make their kid, and retool the backstory to fit into the new world.

His name is Haithem, and he dual wields swords because he's bisexual.
