Hakanaï, dance performance composed and directed by Adrien Mondot & Claire Bardainne (2013).
Hakanaï is a solo choreographic performance that unfolds through a series of images in motion. The Japanese word "Hakanaï" stands for something which is temporary and fragile, evanescent and transient - thus perfectly fitting the intangibility and frailty of human condition. The symbolic relationship between man and dreams is the foundation of the performance, where a dancer, by interacting with the virtual images, gives life to a space set between imagination and reality. Adrien Mondot is a programmer and multidisciplinary artist. Claire Bardainne is a set and visual designer. They work together since 2004.
