- Hakaru is an oni who was kidnapped and then saved as a kid. He is Super distrustful of humans (except for Granny Oni). even though hes a doctor he hates being touched so he never directly treats anyone—he makes medicines and teaches assistants how to treat people for him. ive actually got a google doc with his voicelines written out lmao

- Shinju! is the son of my other oc Kohaku and a shrine maiden named Akiko. He grew up at the Grand Narukami shrine and stays there until hes a teenager, which is when his Aunty Yae Miko (priestess of the shrine) tells him to go find his dad and figure out why tf he killed his clan. Shinju finds Kohaku in france with a new found family lmao. Shinju's like. a teachers pet kinda kid. adults love him bc hes so polite but he is secretly a plotter and hates his father ✧
