Random thought, but I need people to stop writing or treating Kahar like he’s some stupid boy with all his results failing. BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE IS STILL A KUDRAT STUDENT. (Yes, I know he got in through cable bapak and all that, but do you really think he’s that stupid?) Given Kudrat’s reputation and prestige, I imagine it to be somewhat like MCKK, where the requirement to get in is at least 5As in UPSR. Kahar probably got 3As, which is why he said his results weren’t good enough to qualify for Kudrat—not because he’s stupid!

Also, pre-KHC, Kahar wasn’t a problematic kid. He was polite, timid, and a nice boy (as mentioned by @vamp-ish ). I think he did his homework, went to prep, and actually learned something, okay? I’m convinced he probably got at least 5As in PMR: BM, BI, Sejarah, KH (KH is so easy, bro—you’re really fucked up if you can’t get an A), and Pend Islam (he’s from Kelantan, the Serambi Mekah! A in Pend Islam is practically guaranteed). AND WE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT SBPs ONLY OFFER PURE SCIENCE SUBJECTS. So if he were that stupid, Kudrat would’ve had to kick him out—kabel abu yamin or not. Like, come on, even if you’re there on a cable, you still need to know how to multiply 12x12 and learn how to write responding varaible, manipulative variable and all that kind of shit. FITHERMORE!!!! Abu Yamin is definitely being overdramatic, just like any other Asian parent. My father was an overachiever and a boarding school alumni too, and he was STILL disappointed in my results even though I got straight As and 1B! Kahar might be a himbo, but he’s NOT a dumbass, okay?

And don’t even get me started on Hakeem. Hakeem is a poor, underprivileged kampung boy, so of course, he got into Kudrat with good results! I can totally imagine his primary school teacher encouraging him to apply to Kudrat because he was a good student, someone who could change his family’s fate. (Kind of like a younger Abu Yamin storyline.) SO HE’S NOT STUPID EITHER! He might be silly and blur puyuh, but he’s smart enough to maintain his place in Kudrat!

With that being said, it infuriates me how they chose Kahar’s ending as a penjual burger. (Not saying it’s a bad thing, before anyone gets offended.) BUT IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. Yes, Kahar wants to choose his own path, but couldn’t it be more like: “Ayoh, Kahar nak sambung belajar bidang seni. Kahar betul-betul minat seni, Ayoh.” And BAM—Kahar as an art major in UiTM.

Reza ditching A Levels also ruined my imagination of a Megat/Reza reunion in London, where Reza’s doing his law degree at KCL and Megat is an economics/business major at UCL.

tldr: stop treating kahar likes he is sooo stupid guys pls😭 yall are basically abu yamin 2.0
