Tumblr just ate this post while I was editing tags, sorry. I don’t fully remember what I typed, but I’m going to try to get it as close to the original as I can, because I rather liked this post. Hakkuren isn’t in the Featured Youtubers section (which you should totally check out) quite yet, because their uploads aren’t too prevalent in most of my playlists, and Youtube doesn’t suggest them to me very often. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t good at what they do, just... This is the one major arrange uploaded by this channel that has been recurring in my feed for a while. And hoo boy, has it been a /while/! Three, maybe three and a half years this song has been in and out of my regular musical rotation! It’s nowhere near as much of a staple to me as Explosive Irony, and that might be because it doesn’t hold quite as much personal meaning to me. However, that doesn’t make the song any less wonderful.
This particular upload of it is accentuated by a nice picture with nice, cool colors, and Miko’s expression here fits the lyrics so perfectly. “I wonder if you know what’s behind my smile / Because I knew, I acted like I didn’t see.”
Don’t ship Miko x Byakuren, kids. It ruins lives and confuses Kokoros. Don’t confuse Kokoro, you monster!
