I gotta a lot to say about my boy. So buckle up!!!
I've been following Akatsuki no Yona for the pass 7 years (I fucking love this manga, just so you know). And when I started this manga it wasn't Yona or Su-won who drag me in, it was Hak. His introduction alone explained his character. Of course, I didn't get the full package but enough to make me fall in love. And thennnn, the plot came in. Sure, Yona was hurt and shit but somewhere I knew she'll be okay. She'll grow and show us how she overcome this. However, Kusanagi sensei does something completely different; she shows how Hak is affected as well. She remembered that (Hak, Yona, and Su-won) they were a trio!!!!
I watched how this man ignores his feelings and mental health until Yona was stable again. I watched the affect of the betrayal eats him alive. I watched as he learn how to trust again and how to be human again. His character development has come along so beautifully. He is more than just a love-interest character. He is character with his own shit going on. A character with his own problems. Not only Yona's lover.
And I hate the fact that these last couple of chapters (more than a hand-full) he's treated like shit. I was hoping for more healing for Hak character. It's all I care about since the betrayal and since chapter 91. And when we finally reach to that point, they throw it out the facking window!!!! Like this is so unfair to Hak's character, the fandom, and the story itself. It so immature for the editor and haters to degrade a character just because of their personal feelings.
I love this manga. I really do. But if characters are going to continue being out of character, or the plot reminds unclear, or my boy continue to be treated like shit.....then I'll just have to call it a quits. And I'll hate to do that.
Sooooooooo yeah, that's me and my 5 cents.
