Well, if i got paid $7.25 an hour, i wouldn’t give a damn either.
I understand not giving a damn - I didn't either when I worked retail at minimum wage when I was younger. But even to the rudest, dumbest customers, I wouldn't be SO horribly unapologetic - especially if I made mistakes. I still smiled, I still tried to actually do my job, and I continued to work on my people skills.
The way I see these kids working, they aren't doing themselves ANY good besides minimum wage. Their interpersonal skills are so bad that they won't be able to hold a job ANYWHERE besides fast food...it's a matter of motivation and attitude towards life - which are two things that are always in your control no matter what. That's why I feel like I have a right to be annoyed by this. I understand hard times, I understand how situations suck, but I will never understand people that perpetuate their own bad situations.
