Halberd “Hal” Doorman
I drew him a while ago but here’s the updated version. This is Hal, my Khori kiddo…he’s Uzi’s little brother and I think most of yall know him from me tormenting tf outta this four year old in Would You Fall In Love With Me Again? And I Can’t Help But Wonder…
He carries his little golden retriever pupper named Porter (yes, is reference to @audiart’s Porter) everywhere he goes. She’s his bestest friend!
Yes he believes that the red boots make him faster.
It amuses me greatly how attached y’all got to Hal. I’ve received threats of violence (jokingly) on if I hurt him.
I guess I’m doin’ something right with him!
Do you plan on extending the "The babysitter is a vampire?" universe?
I read it after WYFILWMA (the the title is a pain to write ngl) and i loved it.
I really came to like Hal and the dynamics around him.
oh dear haha, unfortunately that was intended to just be a oneshot.
Would You Fall does have a companion fic if you haven’t read it, that’d be I Can’t Help But Wonder. It focuses more on Hal especially in the later chapters.
Hal does also appear in Life is a Song, Love is the Music, he’s about the same age he is in The Babysitter’s a Vampire. He is also scheduled to appear in iNtersubJeCtiVe requital and perhaps even a later entry into my Something Strange in Coppersville entries (which would have your supernatural themes that his first appearance story has!) the story that is up is Carry On Wayward Sons which focuses more on Khan and Nori but will eventually include Uzi! I also have plans to include the little guy in two swaps I have coming once I finish some of my current projects!
Long Story short, Hal is gonna haunt some of my stuff because I fell in love with him and uh, kinda am very surprised that he kinda has everyone wrapped around his little fingers as well haha. But as for the story he first appeared in…sadly no. It’s too close to my SSC series in terms of story.
