In this video I have teamed up with fellow Vainglory YouTuber, Commander Alex to do a 1v1. Rather than your typical 1v1 in this video, one of us will be going weapon power and the other person will go crystal power. To kick off this collaboration we decided to go with Ringo. Ringo was a pretty solid option if you want to play weapon or crystal and it's fun to see how they fare against each other.

All the carries in Vainglory seem to be pretty well balanced and I'm noticing more and more people willing to pick up someone that hasn't been as popular... like Gwen. I've been a big fan of Gwen since her release and I always enjoy tossing Vox to the side and playing a game or two with her.
I've noticed a rise in heroes that want to jump or dive on the carry and Gwen has the perfect way to get out of these sticky situations. Now, I don't like Gwen in every team comp and I don't think she is at the top of the meta at the moment but I'd highly recommend giving her a try if you haven't played her in awhile. Hopefully, this video shows that you should and gives you a reason to bust her out on the Halcyon Fold.
I always try to showcase the best games, the ones where me and my team are all on the same page and are able to conquer the Halcyon Fold. But many games in solo queue can often be a mess and this wasp one of them. I did my best to try and support my allies and then try to carry the team to victory but one mistake after another just pushed us farther and farther behind. Of course there were plenty of moments where I could have played better and helped make better calls and I'll do my best to learn from games like this. Thanks for watching and stay positive!

Wot, mate, a week where EU gave us more impressive things to talk about than NA? Blasphemy! Alas, it is true. We hope for some juicy matches at the Unified Spring Championship in London!
Crystal Power / Cooldown Glaive has really become a deadly force on the Halcyon Fold. Being able to have your afterburn available on such a short cooldown can make sure that your enemies never have a chance to runaway. My only issue with playing cooldown Glaive is I’m never 100% confident in my damage in the late game, you really just become a utility tool for your weapon carry to clean things up.
In this game I ended up picking up the contraption to help make sure we always had vision on Taka and for the extra cooldown. If you’re playing with a team on voice chat you may not have to grab this item and instead go for more damage or another defensive item.
Ozo in the right hands can wreck a team and can become unkillable. In order for that to happen you need a good team to back you up and support your crazy initiations.
In this game I was pretty disappointed with the outcome. I don't play much Ozo but I did my best to try to carry the team to victory but with the smallest mistakes later in the game the tables can quickly turn. Still I think Ozo is under appreciated right now and with the new skin coming in Vainglory update 2.1, we may start to see this wild monkey all over the Halcyon Fold.
It can be a lot of fun to put together a montage that features the strengths of the carry... There is nothing quite as fun then to watch Celeste or Vox pick up a triple kill. But, someone needs to be there to help them make those plays and that is where the captain comes in. Lance is the type of hero that can make some very exciting plays and is someone that the other team just wants to run away from.
Even when you’re just the lonely captain you can see make some memorable plays for your team on the Halcyon Fold.
Petal is a very underrated hero at the moment. The sad part is she was so underpowered for so long and became the joke of the Halcyon Fold. Now over the last few updates she has become a very strong pick up against certain team-comps. Combine with that and the contained news we hear from Super Evil Megacorp about how she has an incredibly high win rate means everyone should be playing this hero right now.
