Cyber Sleuth spoilers, but I've always wondered how different and similar Kyoko Kuremi and Alphamon Kuremi are personality-wise, since nobody really noticed anything different after The Incident gave Alphamon a body to take over aside from her horrific coffee experiments. Think Alphamon assimilated the memories hard-wired into Kyoko's brain to figure out how to act like her, or did they happen to just be Like That™️ already and it was a lucky coincidence?
I mean, there's a post credits scene of the protagonist meeting the real Kyoko Kuremi for the first time after the universe is reset and the Eaters are gone, and she seems GENUINELY interested in trying coffee with mayonnaise (she saw Takumi/Ami was drinking coffee and had an open mayonnaise bottle and deduced it). It IS possible that the rebooted Kyoko somehow absorbed some of Alphamon's too.
One has to wonder what sort of work Takumi would have found himself in if someone other than Kyoko Kuremi had rescued him from Makiko Date after rematerializing from the Eater attack.
Like, say, if a certain Phantom Thief had bailed him out and helped him recomplete his body...
Wait, how tall is he again? That bit of info must have been lost from his brain when he got stuck with his half digital body, which he can sorta modify.
Random note: for Takumi, at least, this blog is a sort of reboot of one I had called halfxdigital. It also had Ken from Adventure 02 as a muse, but I didn't play him often and I don't think I was very accurate.
I was originally also going to write out personalities and mini bios for them, but I think just having their lines and giving them nicknames will do for now.
Yes, they CAN take on different evolutions, courtesy of how Digimon tends to work as a whole, these are just their 'main' routes.

The Cyber Sleuth in a universe where people can enter the internet through a virtual reality known as Cyberspace EDEN. One day, while joining some friends in investigating rumors of a 'Ghost Boy' in the underside of the internet, the hacker Yuugo granted him 3 digimon for protection: Palmon, Hagurumon, and Terriermon. They were attacked by a strange, tentacled creature and had to escape. Making sure his friends logged out safely first, he was struck, but managed to successfully log out... Or so it seemed...
He awoke in the middle of traffic as a bizarre, digital construct. Under threat of being arrested, he was rescued by detective Kyoko Kuremi. After she aided him in reconstructing his body, discovering the new ability to directly travel into the cyberspace himself in the process, she recruited him to be her assistant in investigating the strange monsters, called the Eaters, and their connection to Digimon, the Ghost Boy, and Kamishiro Enterprises, as well as solving various other cases that come their way.
Canon Divergence and Other Tidbits (under the cut)
This particular version of Takumi is a New Game+ version, so he's TECHNICALLY already experienced the story and sidequests, as well as having a full team of digimon ready to rumble. HOWEVER, for the sake of not completely re-writing the story with his knowledge of events, he only gets brief visuals of what he's experienced in the 'original playthrough'.
As mentioned in his bio, Yuugo gave him all 3 of the starter digimon in this timeline, with the rest of his squad finding their way to him while in the Digi-Lab
He greatly enjoys coffee, in spite of Kyoko's horrific experiments, and constantly suffers from morbid curiosity. Yes, her creations are repulsive and definitely not going to taste good, but... What if this one does?
He sometimes wishes he could equip weapons to his digital body like a video game character to help his digimon with tough battles.
He thinks Jimmy KEN's music is absolutely revolting, possibly due to his experience with the rock star in the 'original playthrough'.
