Then they can ignore Harry's book.

Being out to your friends but not your family is like having one foot out of the closet with your hand on the door just waiting to have to rush back in. I can't post anything on Facebook because my family members, a bunch of old ladies from church, my priest, and my bishop would see and I don't know how any of them would react. Not as worried about the priest and bishop because they are supportive of the LGBT community but I'm still not ready. I am especially not ready for my family to know

Are you fully out? And if so how did you do it?

Whelpp, I am out to my siblings ( I have four) and most of my friends know who I hang out with daily. I’m not out to my Mom or Dad they are super religious well more so my mother, she curses gays and everything says it un natural. Saying she kick any of her kids out if they were that way. Don’t get me wrong I love my mother it’s just she was 1 of 14 kids raised in a extremely catholic environment. Family means the world to me. That being said it gets kinda difficult sometimes and that’s were my depression kicks in. But opening up to my siblings/friends and being accepted knowing I have their support is the best feeling in the world. Huge weight lifted. And I know when I decided to tell my mom eventually that my sisters and one brother will have my back because they know she’s not going to accept it which is sad. At the end of the day I’d rather be true to myself then live a lie for my mother.
