I have twelve empty half-pans that I plan (to attempt) to fill with special effect paints, but other than that SHE IS READY TO BE USED!

Now to figure out what to paint...

New #watercolor palette coming along nicely. in a stunning shift toward organization and planning ahead, I actually documented the colors as I put them in the pans!

I still need to pick up a few tubes of neutrals, some alizarin crimson, and some kind of cool purple for shadows and distant mountains. In the meantime I'll use it along with my old friend the little mint-tin paintbox. Planning to use the whole range for some leaf-peeping plein air in the next few weeks 🌳🍁🍂🌿🌾🍁🌲

Working on an auxiliary tiny palette, this one with my fun colors for coloring buttons and greeting cards. The tin used to hold those addictive green tea mints from trader joe's, and now it fits eight half-pans of #watercolor.
