PSSA Little Stage Academy offer Acting, Singing, Dancing Classes for young performers
ACT
Acting classes offer the skills for both stage and screen.
Term themes range from Shakespeare, Acting for Camera, Acting for Stage, Devising, Improvisation, Emotional Recall Techniques, Filming and Editing, Comedy, Pantomime
During Technique Term students devise, film and edit their own short film allowing them to not only prepare to be in front of the camera but also learn what goes on behind it. Films are screened at an end of term show for friends and family.
We also have regular TV & Film Guest Workshops and Audition Technique Workshops.
SING
Singing classes in London encourage students to understand the mechanics of their voice so they can develop a sound technique and use their instrument safely.
Students cover a vast range of musical theatre from Lion King to Sondheim and pop styles from Kings of Leon to Rihanna.
Students also channel their inner rock star at Microphone Technique Workshops with stars from the music industry, as well as visiting a recording studio to record their own CD and experience life as a pop star.
During our Summer musical students are challenged with a musical theatre score as we stage a full scale musical in a local theatre.
DANCE
Dance is structured to enhance fitness, build stamina, flexibility, and strength.
Classes starting with a big energizing warm-up, technique and stretching, before learning new choreography.
Students are challenged by a range of different styles and encouraged to embrace a range of themes.
Styles covered include a street dance, technical jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, Charleston and Bollywood.
